2020 DB Bermudez Visits Miami, Will Return During Spring

I went & watched his Senior tape just to get a reminder of what he looked like as a prospect...

I'll be honest, wasn't very impressed, nothing stood out to me. Looks too slow & doesn't have the hips to play CB here IMO, don't see a lot of athletic upside at CB, he looks like a Safety to me. He can tackle pretty well, but his footwork at CB is no Bueno.

I would take him to keep the Sandalwood piepline open, but only if we missed on others ahead of him.

I want Jalen Harrell & any one of the 3 JUCO CB's we've offered over Bermudez.

But for depth purposes I think he could be a solid add to this class at S.

Back when we were somewhat recruiting him in the summer he mentioned we told him he was a striker.

I was always so/so on him...I don't think he's anything we aren't recruiting. I got the sense that UM kinda went with Branch and hodges over him anyway?

You do realize that Heritage has/had like 3 NFL dbs on their staff even when Rumph was there right?

Brown is 160-165pounds...and transferred to Heritage from PIPER. He's slotted where he should be in South Florida. Heritage is still chugging out prospects..even though they had a little mass exodus b4 this season.
