Good info, the emphasis needs to be on recruiting top notch athlete's in that secondary with good instincts, which is why i like this colson player, and bethel should've stayed, but if a player is not committed in his heart he wont succeed nowhere anyway. I dont do the comparison things but its like when the penn disgrace morons picked up corn elder, was a runningback in highschool, too notch, was Mr. Tennessee football i think twice, just a **** of an athlete which is why he was able to bode well at db, just like deejay dallas would've. Once corn got with coach rumph, the sky was the limit for em.
Our db room God Willing with good health is going to be on a mission, dj ivey is now a certified db, all he has to do now is run track this year, get a lil stronger, he's already proven he can go up against some top notch receivers, people seem to forget ivey was covering those same lsu receivers as a True Freshman, him and Blades, they not phased by the competition, its bout to get real competitive over their. Same with the safeties, i like what i saw outta of bolden, he can ball, but more importantly, he's a quick learner and learns from his mistakes. If our secondary starters come next year are Blades, ivey, gurvan and bolden, im good with that, with couch and williams getting burn as well as keontra, our secondary is solid and with better athlete's at linebacker overall, that'll make this defense even more athletic.
By the way, shouts out to the austrailian punter who came in and did his business, he's an asset to this team and the defense. Coach richt left this team in real solid shape, keep in mind, it was coach diaz who actually phucked us up in the ACC championship, was calling aggressive defense all year, gets to the ACC championship game and than started running soft **** and zone coverages which is why Clemson picked us apart, coach diaz coached nervous that night!
