Does it make sense to put Rousseau in middle on passing downs instead of on the edge? It seems we did that a lot.

No it doesn't which is why I have been screaming that Todd Stroud needs to go, Manny has surrounded himself with a bunch of Beta Types as defensive coaches the offense is an entirely different mess. As the most seasoned veteran coach in the defensive room he allowed that bullcrap stunting and placing your best pass rusher at the 0 Tech spot or better yet dropping him to coverage or using him as spy.
Most veteran dline coached would have put a stop to that bull crap. Did you see Jess Simpson or Kuligoski allowing that bull crap. With the athletes UM has we don't need to use that 3 man stunting bull crap. Did you ever see OSU put chase young at nose.

ive been thinking this even when Simpson was here. Our D line don’t show any pass rush moves besides bull rushing. Even Rousseau who was a monster this year made all his plays because he’s just an athletic freak. Imagine if he was actually taught some pass rushing moves and how to use his hands.

sooo not true, with Simpson the dline actually improved their run stopping while maintaining an elite pass rush. Jess Simpsons had those dline boys practing Georgia pimp slaps in their sleep.
