2019 - Year of Recruiting Shambles - Offense

OFFENSE could potentially go 4 for 21 on their Top Targets


QB - 0 for 2

1. MJJ: PSU - (Put all our eggs in 1 basket. This will be a theme)
2. Sam Howell: FSU (or UNC) - Stupidly didn't recruit him until the 11th hour (this will be a theme as well)


RB - Potentially 0 for 6 (we'll call it 0 for 3 since we only really targeted the top 3 listed)

1. Marcus Crowley: OSU (Put all our eggs in 1 basket)
2. DJ Williams: Prob ALA/UGA/AUB (Stupidly didn't recruit him until the 11th hour)
3. MAR: AUB - Goofed around for a year by not telling the kid he can play RB
4. Kenny McIntosh: UGA - good enough for them but not Miami
5. Chez Mellusi: CLEM - good enough for them but not Miami
6. Nayquan Wright: UF - good enough for them but not Miami (and openly talks **** about us)


WR - 1 for 3

1. Jadon Haselwood: OU
2. Frank Ladson: CLEM
3. Jeremiah Payton: Miami
4. John Dunmore: PSU - Stupidly didn't recruit him until the 11th hour
5. TJ Jones: Plan B/C


TE - 1 for 3

1. Keon Zipperer: UF - Trolled so hard
2. Jalen Wydermyer: TXA&M
3. Larry Hodges: Miami - not heavily recruited by top programs


OL - 0 for 7. Searles should've been fired mid season

1. Evan Neal: ALA - Put all our eggs in 1 basket
2. Darnell Wright: Staff hasn't even recruited
3. Michael Tarquin: UF - totally dogged by this kid
4. Donte Lucas: FSU - Kid toyed with the staff all year
5. Kingsley Eguakun: UF - totally dogged by this kid. Put all our eggs in 1 basket
6. Darius Washington: MSST - Searles can't recruit
7. Maurice Smith: FSU - Stupidly didn't recruit him until the 11th hour
8. Kaleb Boateg - CLEM - good enough for them but not for Miami

5. TJ Jones: Plan B/C


TE - 1 for 3 maybe 2 for 3 if we can land ZIp

1. Keon Zipperer: UF/Miami - Potentially could get caught with our pants down if this kid is trolling us
2. Jalen Wydermyer: TXA&M

not as long as we have a lockerroom full of guys that can win every game they play next year, and I can give a puck what you say about coaching no chance, whatever.. we were a handful of plays from being a 1 loss team this year, just like 2016, yes we need to open up that gap of margin for error vs inferior opponents, but we have a locker room that can beat any body not named Baga, so ***** that we aint shutting **** down
 
Miami offense output last year scared every single recruit.

You can get away with suspect QB play or Playcalling you can't be awful on both. The OL play probably hurt us with RB and OL targets, that's brutal. Searels should be a goner.

Or track record with TE should help us with zipp, but we'll see.

Haselwood and Payton probably the only top targets to have the confidence that hthey are above awful QB play and questionable play calling.

Lol bro it was a joke and coaching is the reason why we are in this position Richt has completely ***** us for the future.

whatever man we got players, obviously we gotta win to recruit, so as much as we thought we were on our way back last year, and took a step back, it can be the same this year that we're not dead and can take a step forward next year.. everyone wants to extrapolate everything into the long term, gotta take things as they come and work through ****

Nothing but truth here, can’t slurp this narrative any other way

Undeniable disaster
 
I like TJ Jones a lot, he's a very good route runner, gets in & out of breaks quick & smooth, has legit 4.4 speed with good hands.

I think he'll be a **** good WR on the next level, wouldn't be upset if we missed on Dunmore & landed him. He reminds me of a Davante Adams type.

I mean we could and teams in the past have bounce back after terrible years but those teams make changes after bad years and we have made none. So I wouldn’t expect us to magically get better next year being back most of this staff. Having players matter but if ur coaching sucks players arent going to do much.
