2019 WR target TJ Jones: "I talk to coach Dugans almost every other day"

Second pass in, whoever that qb is, he put that on the money in heavy traffic, they run a precision offense, as of right not, damyum near looks like he'd be take a step down playing in our offense, but by the time he gets here, perry, cade or jarren will have the offense looking like what he's use too. Definitely needs to be in this class, coach dugans got his room elite, he trying to consistently have the best widereceivers in the nation. He could careless who the qb is, which in a way is good why Ahmon is sitting, cause the receivers have to ball out regardless of who the qb is.
 
love this kid and his game. He's a beast. Also this is the reason Dugans is a better recruiter than most on staff. He still keeps line of communication high with his targets. We have some guys that play the roller coaster game with recruits. If Jones commit I wont be mad..him and Payton would be a strong group. Shoot your shot on Hazelwood flip.

My comparison for him is: Darnell Nuke Jenkins. Kid will be a beast in the slot. I was always a huge fan of Nuke. So I love this kid regardless if he comes here or not.

They have a qb who’s recruitment will blow up , there’s a lot of Lamar Jackson comparisons. He supposedly an electric athlete, I’m gonna get down to lake city and check them both out.
 
Honestly I would take him and still push for Haselwood. This kid in the Slot would be nice to see in our offense.

I've never thought we were going to flip Haselwood, his recruitment always felt Holloman/Smith 2.0, will flirt with us but will stick to SEC in the end.

I like Jones ability, he's got prototype size at 6'1 185lbs & has good speed. His routes are very smooth, he sells them perfectly transitioning in & out of his breaks, he doesn't have a bunch of herky jerky head moves telegraphing his routes. He runs that 6 Dig & that Post perfectly, that's exactly how Coaches teach it.

He's a legit 4-star & can ball, he reminds me of Davante Adams. If we land him with Payton, our WR Corp for 2019 will be insanely deep with nothing but 4-stars.

We could potentially have Jeff Thomas, Mark Pope, Brian Hightower, Mike Harley, Dee Wiggins, Evidence Njoku, Marquez Ezzard, Jeremiah Payton & TJ Jones. Plus, Cager & Ahmmon could come back, although I think if Dugans is recruiting this heavy it tells me he's not expecting either one of them back.

Props to Donk though, by far the best Coach on staff both on the field & as a recruiter. Coach Dugz is ELITE!

He's the kind of kid Malik would've loved because he has really good size and a good catch radius but man he'll go across the middle, quick 5 yard out, comebacks and get every yard he can I mean you can't find a qb who wouldn't love him or a rb who wouldn't want him to seal the edge for him on a huge run

No doubt, i will say this, our offense has enuff players to be elite in the not to distant future, we're just a few mature o-linemen and a consistent qb away. We got weapons galore, will be coming at teams in drobes.

I would have to venture this kid knows who J.Haslewood is...And Dugans has been clear with him imo..something along these lines "we love your tape...If this was bigger wr class like last year you would be in no matter what, but there's one kid in front of you and it just happens to be Jordan Haselwood, we don't expect you to wait, but we def have a spot if Haselwood isn't coming"

I think he's ours the moment he can commit personally.

We do have numbers at the wideout spot, but besides Ahmon and jeff thomas, nobody else thus far has hit their levels, so coach dugans has to continue to keep his foot on the donk gas pedal. We got some real talented young guns waiting in the wings, but the competition at wideout is how it is suppose to be at UM, one things for sure, it shouldnt be hard to get qb recruits to come here knowing they got ballers on the outside to throw too. Bring in t.j.

Watch what happens with a real qb...Harley showed today what he’s capable of.
 
Im not going to just rip Malik every single second but Harley is about to blow up because their chemistry Is legit and it was never real with Malik
