Yes he is but he isn't pushing him. And long story short Jashawn hasn't had the best family life, Alex is like a big bro to him. Coached him in middle school then when he got a job at Fredrica brought Jashawn and a bunch of other players with him because they aren't even zoned to go to school there. He's taken him all over the place to different schools. Don't read into it much.

He never posted about Jashawn being a lean because that isn't true. He has never pushed him anywhere. He is not just a coach to Jashawn. He is family. They have been together since he was in the 6th grade. He has taken him all over. He took jashawn to 2 FSU games when he was in middle school and they haven't been back to a game since. Alex isn't the type of person to push him anywhere. He just wants him to succeed. Those words about him are pretty sad. He's a good guy who has done a lot for kids in that community without asking for anything.

This is pretty much the truth. Alex talks to Hartley a lot. He just wants jashawn in the right place to succeed on and off the field. no matter the jersey color.
