He’s nothing special I can promise you that.

I am a SCar alum.

All the south Florida Kids we’ve gone after and gotten have been huge busts. Add Rosendo Louis to the list.
The best have been the sc and Georgia boys. Damani Staley has been playing good as well as jaylen foster and that whole d-line is sc/georgia boys

Unfortunately, this is the case when schools just recruit a kid because he plays for a certain school. The kid maybe talented but he may not be a player for that level. I mean we saw that first hand with the MNW 08 class. We probably should have took 3-5 players but even that’s extreme. Schools always running to the power schools in Broward (I understand why) but IMO if you’re a p5 and you don’t get the top Dawg I don’t understand settling for the 3rd best guy at his position unless he’s Elijah Moore but he was a beast prior to going to STA. IMO he didn’t need them.

Are you still saying this when “an under the radar underrated kid” goes to a school that’s equal to or lesser than SCar? How about Mikel Jones, Rashod Fenton, M Faqot, Yasir Abdullah?

You’ve gotta pick a side.
These guys werent underratted...they were listed as high type recruits. (Louis, Jahmar) and it was because of the programs they played at and supposed sec offers. A high elite type s.fla recruit AINT going to S.CAR.

*Side note i was pumping Rashad Fenton on here.

Loved Fenton

And Diaz's pickiness with LBs and CBs DEFINITELY is looking very shaky.

I wish more schools would realize this. They actually think that they can walk into STA, Deerfield, IMG, Heritage, & MNW and think they are going to get top tier athletes. No they aren’t. Those schools will not send their best players that way. I’m hard pressed to say Oregon & USC can walk in those places and get their top tier athletes. They have to do a better job at recruiting and understand where they stand with these athletes. Look at UL, they get the athletes that the big 3 don’t want then pounce on them. They also hope we ***** up and ignore talents like Dumerville, Bridgewater, Hollomon, Jackson, Tutu, etc.

I understand that. But much like all of us here we always talk about the outlier from s fla that goes elsewhere and balls that was never a high profile recruit.

Its tough because while there are very good players in s fla, the culture overall is very volatile. You can’t necessarily count on them to lead your program.
