I’ve been casually following recruiting during summer and was out with the fam today, I’ll get the scoop in the morning. Either way last person I’d listen to along with his sources is GaterMarrao

I swear this board has borderline personality. A guy is either totally worthless or the best thing ever with no middle ground. Lucas isn't a can't miss prospect but I'd be happy to see him flip to Miami. His technique needs a complete overhaul from the ground up and I'd trust IMG/Searels to help. When he actually maintains half-man relationship and gets his hands on the defender it's over. You can't teach size and strength like that. He's made it this far just leaning into guys so imagine how dominant he could be with proper development. You don't just give up on a local prospect like that smh.

IMG hasn't shown a consistency at coaching kids up. For a guy that needs a complete overhaul in technique, that means he likely won't contribute until about year 3. Lucas has already shown himself to be a troll, so for a guy that's not going to contribute immediately when he steps foot on campus, I'm not wasting the recruiting time it would take to flip him from FSU.

This place is an echo chamber half the time. Someone brings a certain perspective that resonates and the hive mind quadruples down on it and takes it to an extreme

I don’t doubt what you’re saying but why would he bother showing up to campus if that’s the case?

So why even come yesterday? He has been doing a ton of begging to get Miami to recruit him

He was in town Miami coaches found out and asked him to stop by, more so convinced him and the kid loves the attention so he came.
