Here’s how I read OP’s list:

Legendre / Matocha - wants a qb badly. Likely gets one or the other.

Bogle - will take at DE if we can get him, but need lessened with Hill and perhaps Phillips coming. If not Bogle, probably not Boykin either.

MAR - We take him if he wants in. Feels like that is not a big probability. But we’ll see.

Washington - Big need, guy we have recruited all year. But tough area for us to pull from. No alternatives so hit or miss here. Ery important recruit.

Williams - sounds like a take on ability - unclear if we have space to take him + Emerson or if not, is it a race to who commits first?

JHH - need interior dl talent. Sounds like a priority prospect. Dont know probability.

Emerson - Need another DB. We’ve been on this kid all year. Sounds probable but how does Williams fit in?

Pickens - Sounds like a take on ability. Unclear on probability. Unclear on priority.

Asante / Brothers - would like a LB. need one or we will be really thin at the spot in ‘20. Question will be space relative to other priorities.

Elam - Not coming. Whatever.

Jones - Sounds like he could be a take but isn’t likely, and isn’t a priority position at this time

Boykin - Contingency plan in case other plans don’t work out or possibly just out of pickture at this time

Thanks for the update. Wonder why South Carolina is not in MAR’s top 5 since his relationship with Thomas Brown is so important, odd.

SC also just had a RB enter the portal and there isn't exactly a ton of depth.

I normally wouldn't do it to myself, based off of the Golden/Richt years, but our new staff has a new vibe, new vision, and new attitude. I think the days of losing all the big names to everyone else are coming to an end. Can we land him? Who knows, but I think next year you will see Miami back in the top 5-7 of recruiting, possibly higher.

I don't start paying attention to recruiting until the current class is signed, so I don't usually know any names until the spring of that year. Every name that I'd heard by last May is on the "Falling Off" list. That, my friends, is not a recipe for success. I know this was a particularly difficult year, but this has become standard. Every year I hear a bunch of "must get" names in the spring and summer, then in January I see that almost none of them are committed to Miami.
