2019 DE Smith Vilbert receives offer

This is a backup option for that SDE role. Simpson wants to take a SDE like a joe Jackson type this class and so far we have no one on the board but Adisa Isaac. Everyone else is a WDE type prospect.

That’s Miami sports fans for you. The most ignorant, overreacting, and dramatic fan base in all of sports and it’s like that for every sports team down here lol

Kid looks impressive to me. He even as the frame to grown into the RJ Mac type DT in our scheme.

I believe Adisa Isaac is a WDE.

Just my opinion---Do not know the level of competition he is against. That said he is not the low knee bender Bogel is but rather uses his very long arms to lock onto O-linemen. He is able to lean with the height and use the arms to get the corner turned on pass rush. Is raw in some aspects but has the frame to be 270-275 and still be a real athletic DE. Height and arm length very good in passing game. strength and weight will probably not be a problem as look at Rousseau, Garvin, Pat Bethel, etc. Under our D-Line coaching the development of player has been far superior to the O-line.
I do not know the real essence of the offer if it is because they see one of the current DE's being a "no show" at signing day or they actually like the kid.

Has decent feet for height from being a basketball player, dos not cross step. Good first step and explosion. Uses long arms and powerful hands to control the offensive tackles.
