Unfortunately this may be a sign that we are losing out on one of our top remaining targets. However, I applaud Coach Simpson for not waiting around to receive the news and quickly line up backup plans, unlike our QB and OL coaches. Kid is huge and he does look talented, especially considering he’s only played 2 seasons.

God we need DEs. We could go into next year with Garvin, Patchan (ACL history), Rousseau, (missing an entire season), and Harvey (true freshman). I'd say the chances of Joe Jackson coming back are 50/50 at best. If Jackson leaves for the NFL, regardless of the freshman we sign, I'd say we need a grad transfer.

Jackson returning would make me feel a lot better about that unit and its depth. I guess Joyner could continue to play there if we need him.

Surprised Jess hasn't been working the Georgia connections more. That was supposedly one of the main reason he was brought on.

I love the way Jess has approached recruiting. He's done a great job with the D-Line this year and tough the boys how to stop the run much better.

He's also been relentless in recruiting and hasn't been afraid to shoot his shot with non-local guys a la Brissett, Issac, Harris, etc.

I Dont know why you guys are so bent on Bogle. I wanted Weaver more so than him....Bogle is a troll and a sec type guy for the most part. He is a situational guy on the roster (which he would be good at..pass rush specialist) but isnt an instant play guy. We are in need of a strongside end.
