Uphill battle
Senior day today. It was meant for Stacy Coley and Malcom Lewis to shine in their last home game.*Ahmmon richards*Kid is a STUD must break Bama's WR streak.
I don't recall seeing him on the field much today after he fumbled and recovered, was he injured? Malcolm Lewis and Braxton Barrios got a lot of playing time.
The ones who "wouldn't want to play in their hometown" are either front runners, or paid. AKA most of the south Florida athletes with the skill level to truly go to the school of their choice.

And these kids get worshipped like gods from the optimist level on up for joining up with the best all-star kids onto a handful of teams and beating the **** out of other teams. Check out the thread on the little 13U Hurricanes team or watch the spring transfer season at the high school level. Watch these kids follow Rolle or Ice or Smith or go to STA or whichever school is playing the current role of University school any given year. Look at the Southridge roster now, where all of a suddenly they're loaded to the gills. Watch the switch from Central to MNW this year that's been suggested. The whole culture over there reinforces the frontrunner mentality, then Miami people are salty when they leave to go play for Bama or FSU. Weird ****ing culture that's hard to understand from afar and it's killing UM football.

When kids are being bought at the optimist level by paying mom's electric bill the culture is too deeply entrenched to change. The ones who "wouldn't want to play in their hometown" are either front runners, or paid.
