Not like Sapp isn't a big deal but the Rock actually calls or texts Hurricane recruits? Jesus....all that Hollywood stardom and he still helps us with recruiting. That's awesome.

This is an s,ample of people not realizing everything our alumni base does for us. Delaney had Adrian with him all weekend but trelle came through on Saturday. Hung out for a lol while with him then before he left on Sunday ed called him up & Vibed for a while.

It's cause Golden didn't let them near the program.

Golden didn't let us near the program cause he knew none of us would cosign what he was doing inside & out with the program. That's why I'm still dumbfounded by everyone who critiques Mike saying he was talking **** about the university & that's why heritage is so against us. That couldn't be further from the truth! He was just very adamant about how horrible that coaching staff was. The only difference between him & the vast majority of our fan base is people acknowledged him speaking out publicly

I'm not gonna read into that comment one way or another. But I will say as an initial hire golden had most of us fooled. He said all the right things. Including he was gonna welcome our alumni back with open arms & his manuscript towards winning football etc. His a tions just never backed up his words so he lost us quickly.

I saw a quote somewhere over the weekend that I thought really summed it up nicely.

There are many different ways to win a Natty offensively, but you cannot win one defensively without a dominant defensive line.

Outside of QB, I've always said the next position where you MUST be dominant in order to be a truly elite football team is both DT spots.

I think it's a big reason many of us are so excited about the defense next year. Norton and McIntosh are legit NFL kids. It all starts there. Vincent should be as high up on the priority list as any kid we're recruiting.
