Reed and Wayne weren't big-time, at least based on the "ratings".

Vegas Franklin, Akieem Jolla, Dobard, 2 Florida transfers (Berlin and Willis), Patrick Riley (DT who played next to Sapp was one of the top DTs in the country out of New Orleans Archbishop Shaw) and Carlos Jones (CB out of Marrero)....

Those Louisiana kids seem to love LSU a lot more.We seem to go hard after a couple every year and they end up picking the home team.Smith was committed to Richt at georgia and decommitted when he was fired,you would think we would be leading comfortably now.

What bigtime players you referring to.Reed and Wayne in the 90s.Last one I can remember was Jolla almost 15 years ago.Last year we chased a DT who kept claiming loved miami even when Golden was here and in the end still picked LSU even after they already had 3 top 20 DTs committed to the class.We need a couple solid seasons before we can go and take someone from LSU.

If he goes to Bama, he better get used to sitting on the tree for a while, as he will be there with a multitude of 5*.

That's it.....if we're in a battle for several top notch players they cannot get them all. The key is to be in the mix with many as possible.

I believe Wayne was a parade AA. Reed wasn't though.
