Coach L's thoughts on the upcoming season: A long interview: Jim Larranaga on Miami Hurricanes’ 2017-18 potential | Canes Watch
So we just got our opening opponent in the Diamond Head Classic and it is Hawaii.
Then we play the winner of Davidson v. New Mexico
Hawaii (Last year 14-16, RPI 300)
Davidson (Last year 17-15, RPI 89)
New Mexico St (Last year 28-6, RPI 58)
- Coach Paul Weir and Ian Baker are gone BTW
The Hurricanes and Rainbow Warriors will face off at 1 a.m. ET Saturday, Dec. 23 (8 p.m. HST Friday, Dec. 22) at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu. The game will be aired on ESPNU.
The Canes’ second game will be against either Davidson or New Mexico State on Saturday, Dec. 23, and the final round will be played Monday, Dec. 25. Miami could face Akron, Middle Tennessee, Princeton or USC in that game.

****, playing Hawaii sucks. They're not good, but they always play well in that tournament since every game is a home game for them.
I remember hating this tourney in 2012, stupid Indiana St game cost us a #1 seed
