2015 MLB Draft

Kirvin Moesquit was drafted in the 24th by the orioles. He is a Miami commit and it seems like he could end up at Miami.
Wasn't he in last year's class? From what I can tell via trusty Google, he must have not qualified and ended up at Seminole State College of Florida. Hit .348 for them last year.

If he's still committed and can be a JUCO transfer like Iskenderian was...that would be awesome. He's a player.

Would be huge...need middle infielders pretty badly for next season.

Lopez did not make many errors and he hit over .300. What hurt him is his lack of power and he got suspended twice this year. He didnt play like crap.

a couple of the games i went to he did, he misplays some balls at times, he doesnt really jump at them, from what ive seen

Went to every series aside from NYIT and FSU this year and I didnt see anything wrong with his play.

He messed a lot in the VT series, also had some lapses in the FSU, it not just him making catching errors or throws its more him misplaying balls and making bad angles that dont get recorded, i guess im just heckling because i played the position lol

I played it too.

While he's not the smoothest, most consistent SS...he's still pretty skilled. I wish his arm was better, and I wish his transitions were better turning 2. He does have good feet, and he's got enough speed to cut off those bad angles he takes sometimes.

That being said...he has the body and the tools to be a better SS than what he is. I think if he keeps developing his body, by this time next year, he'll be a more complete player. He should continue to improve at the plate, and my biggest complaint is--he acts like he's too worried about not getting dirty and doing everything perfect...maybe he looks over at 2nd and watches how Iskenderian plays 2B, and that's the way he needs to play at SS...get dirty, play tough, and attack.

Kep Brown is officially headed to Coral Gables for the next 3 years. What a steal the Canes are getting there. 1st round talent.

Depending on what Eusebio decides to do.. There will be quite the competition for outfield spots next year..

Abreu
Eusebio
Heyward
Chester
Smith
Brown

All fighting for 3 OF spots and potentially a DH spot.

Huge if true. I hate to get too excited till the deadline has passed as LSU had a big time kid on campus in class who then went JUCO at last minute. Boy do I hope this is true!

Can Chester convert to 2B? Ha I wish.
