Canes regrouped today and beat Florida Atlantic 5-2. At least they'll go the season without having to worry about a winless year. lol

LOL! I was 6-0 against FAU in singles at number 1, 2 and 4 singles, and 8-0 against them at number one doubles (played them a bunch, in match play and in NCAA tournaments)

5-2? Really? FAU? We bet them 9-0 every year!

Well, it's been about six weeks since my last update. As of now, the Canes have a 6-7 record and were actually ranked in the country after a very surprising win over No. 47 Florida State, their first win over FSU since 2011. But they also lost to Middle Tennessee. They just lost to Duke and UNC last weekend. Next up is Boston College which they should win but that could be the last win of the season as the other ACC teams look too tough. That would leave the Canes with a 7-16 record and another year of missing the NCAA tournament.

Maybe I am grossly incorect, but I have gotten the impression that Kirijax thought Rincon was an adequate to good HC for men's Tennis. I value his opinion since he does tennis coaching for a living and want to see what he thinks, hence the "leading" question.

Blake got the message and is now showing he expects performance at least on the level of Coach L (I have a soft spot for Wikipedia and Doc Rivers now)...lets see if that goes for ALL sports.

That sucks. You have your finger on the pulse of UM tennis......seems like UM due to location would have better tennis than VA schools, but I don't know a **** thing about it.

Well, that's that. No. 36 VT sweeps Miami 4-0 to end the Canes season. The Canes finish the season at 8-15 and unranked. The drought is now at 5 years and will probably continue.

The women are ranked No. 7 and will start their ACC Championship Tournament today against No. 27 Syracuse.
