The D won't and can't improve unless the pass rush improves dramatically. Desperate help is needed there. Get that fixed and with the secondary talent and improved LB play the D will take great strides.

Hoilett and McCord are going to help our pressure situation next year but I have no idea how much. If Porter is healthy and sticks around (obviously a major ?) then him and Pierre make a decent combo. Should help Chick out.

If the DC is as good as Golden thinks he is then we should see improvement just because they are getting more of their players in the positions they want.

The LB's look like the strength of the defense and if they can learn to cover better, I think it would be a huge help....obvious.

I did, it isn't like he is saying "Porter is considering leaving." If he said that, I would give it some credibility.

Yep this is the biggest thing. I'm excited about Hoilett and O'Donnell because I think they can give that on the outside. Hopefully we can pull one of the Juco kids we're going after to help the DTs.

It'll start out with Mono, then I can see him getting the flu somehow, and he'll top it off with an ear infection.

I know one thing, we will be able to tell if it was the talent/inexperience OR Coach D very early next year. (I think it is both, but the D coaching could have been LOTS better, IMO)
