2010 Recruiting Class - Where are they now?

Randy's major problem was that he put in way too much time and resources into recruiting areas he didn't need to recruit...you're in South Florida for Christ's sake...

Why are you going to Jacksonville? Why are you putting in so much time and effort in Georgia? Recruiting Kansas? Recruiting the Ohio/Michigan area?

There was a lot of time, effort, and resources put into recruiting those areas and the net yield was minimal.
Smh...you would have thought that was one thing Randy got...but he didn't

Yea. Wasting tons of time recruiting kids from ******* Detroit. Unbelievable.

This class was an abomination, especially on defense.

14 guys were recruited to play defense, and NINE aren't even on the roster.

Hold up...so we now have only 5 (that's FIVE) defensive players total from an entire recruiting class?!?

GTFOOH. That **** ain't real life.

Exactly. So out of a recruiting class of 14 defensive players, we got literally ZERO impact players.

Not a single guy who could even sniff 3rd team all-ACC.

****, 7th team all-ACC.

None of those guys are even full-time starters.

Tre Boston and Jabari Price give me hope for our young DB's. Jacory Harris lit them up pretty good in 2010. This year, they handled our WR's pretty well. Guys like Bush, Howard, and Crawford are gonna be really good in a couple of years.

Another good read Lawrence, now Im gonna go snort a perc, take some shots, and pass out. **** is depressing.

That list is borderline for FIU/FAU.

We should have never strayed from this recruiting plan. Recruit south florida first, and go to the rest of Florida, NJ/PA, Texas, LA and CA as needed. That should be the plan now, but add GA to the mix. It's very hard to recruit nationally if you don't have a top 10 program.

That's the worst recruiting class in many moons, maybe ever. Jimmy Gaines is the star. LOL.

Cain and Gaines had FIU/FAU-caliber offers, so no surprise there.

Cornelius and Rodgers actually had legit FBS offers, but they're tweeners who lack football instincts.

Common sense 101, take care of your backyard first. The Tri-counties should be the foundation of every class. There is no reason to go anywhere else.

Shannon should be banned from football for having the best talent in the country in his backyard yet turning this defense into the worst in the nation.

Straight up criminal.

People complaining about Golden and D'Onofrio's scheme, we should count our blessings that we even have a chance to recover from that cluster ****.

That's why I disagree when people say we aren't THAT bad.

Uh, yes, we ARE that bad.

Last year we were a middle-of-the-road defense, but when we lost all of the productive upperclassmen, the defense fell off a cliff. Shocker.

Serious question. Was randy trying to shun everything about the program? My guess as to his decision making was that he hated what Miami legacy, the high schools that the players came from (maybe hated their coaches) hated the south Florida football culture maybe? It can't just be poor decisions. He say some great recruiting and coaching at Miami. He literally had the best example of how to run a program. He must have really grown to hate Miami's history and maybe sought to change it by recruiting elsewhere and doing things completely different than any coach before him?
