Its the constant narrative on this board. Every single game we lose away no matter how ****** the team, year after year. It doesnt matter its an away game. Guess what all of the good teams seem to beat the ****** ACC teams away.

Lets see....... Starting over the number 1 draft pick when you are a whole grade behind him is alot more impressive then being the all time leading scorer in the Philly Catholic League. Especially when the only thing Newton can do is score.

It seems Miami fans are content with losing all the away ACC games and a few embarrassing losses to mid Major teams each year.

It is time for a change. Coach L doesn’t look like he has a clue how to coach elite players. Who does that remind you of? We are undisciplined and poorly coached. I am tired of his excuses. This is by far his worst coaching job.

How would you know any of that with your February 17th join date?

What, exactly, is "reality"? You want to tell me why we're stuck being a program that can't compete for championships?

What you said is completely irrelevant. It has not meaning whatsoever.

Reality is that this is the best coach we've ever had and rational people wouldn't expect much more, at this point, at a program of Miami's caliber. Maybe the next guy will have reasonably higher expectations but three NCAA tournaments, two Sweet 16's and an NIT final in 6 years is something that nobody else has ever done here.

You also consistently fail to make rational arguments.

For instance, if you get a new coach three things can happen:

1) You get better
2) You stay the same
3) You get worse

You never consider option #3 as an equally probably outcome. You just flippantly say that if we're not going to win a championship then we should get somebody new.

I shouldn't have to tell you how badly that has worked out for a number of other programs.

Part of the evaluation process is "can the current guy take us to the next level?" If you don't think your program can get to the next level, then you keep the current guy. Apparently that is your mindset. You're happy with an occasional Sweet 16 blowout, as though every program is forever stuck behind the Dukes and Kentuckys of the world.

Prior to Larranaga's arrival, Miami had zero winning seasons in the ACC. Since then, we've had 5 winning seasons in 6 years.

2004-11: 43-69 (.384%)
2011-18: 71-49 (.592%)

He has taken us to the next level.

Again, maybe the next guy will have reasonably higher expectations. But that's only because of what Larranaga has laid down.
