I am getting more nervous about this game. Before this week we were getting talked about but this week it has gotten crazy.

Kadji tweeting sportscenter and getting on. Coach on PTI today. Players on national radio shows. Now is when mental toughness takes over.

We will learn more about the team this week than we did with the Duke game.

I am not nervous but you bring up a good point. I really do wonder how this stuff affects their daily routines. Chris Freet tweeting the Communications schedule yesterday, today/Thursday were booked up with players/coaches conducing interviews. I wonder if affects them.... and if so, will it eventually show on the court.

If it does, I'm sure it won't happen again. If we lose to a team we're not supposed to lose to, I'm sure Coach L will be on their asses telling them they're not good enough to play like that and expect to win.

Yeah, I mean top teams deal with this **** all the time and it generally doesnt affect them. I am certain Coach L knows how to deal with this as George Mason didnt seem to have any problems dealing with the press.

Thats a reflection of the good press this week and the public buying in like sheep. Not that it takes anything away from the team, but that's what moves the line.. money!

Its part of the story. I dont mind it because it is reality... we are under investigation, big deal. A lot of people have taken our side ever since the NCAA botched this whole thing.

Good press is good press regardless. Any time Coach L can get on TV and rep the University is a good day in my book. Just worried that too much TV might eventually take away from time that could be used to getting better.

Why? They lost a lot of games, isn't that a good thing when a team that your playing is playing poorly?

Because they have Won, Lost, Won, Lost, Won, Lost.... and now us.

That pattern is kind of a simple way of looking at it, I don't thing anyone at FSU thinks they are going to win because they "Won, Lost, Won, Lost, Won, Lost..."

I think the bigger tell is they are 5-5 in their last 10, 6-6 at home and in their last 4 wins, they have won by either 2 or 3 points (barely scrapping by). Since ACC play started FSU has averaged 58.6 PPG....

Patterns in sports are stupid. If you have a pattern like that, it doesn't mean a win is coming up next, it means you're inconsistent. They struggled to beat Clemson and Maryland (combined 9-13) and stole a game at GT when the refs decided Snaer was allowed to spear a guy away from him while on the ball. GT got HOSED on that play. They have been outscored by 78 points in ACC play. They have to catch fire and Snaer has to rain 3's like Erick Green while getting a top notch performance from his teammates. This is our game. Like I said, patterns are stupid, trends are relevant. We're on ******* fire since the calendar turned (specifically Jan 23) and FSU hasn't been consistent this year at all.

I'd like to reiterate the biggest point in there, which is SEVENTY-EIGHT POINTS!!!! They have an average of losing by 7.8 points per game, DESPITE being 5-5. Everything about this FSU team screams 7-11 in ACC play at best, they've just had their wins scheduled early. Look at their schedule, they have 2ish wins remaining with 3 winnable games, BC, @VT, Wake. That's it. 8 games, 3 of them winnable. This team is about to get run out of their own stadium.

This is gonna be a real tough game. You know they're going to be up for us and this is the type of game against and average conference team that good teams take for granted and get caught slipping.

it wont be a tough game........The clemson and UVA games will be tough but the FSU game wont be

Clem's Son isn't good this year.
