Disagree Eaford isn't just some stiff DE projecting to LB...Kid has some bend and agility to him and that's why the coaches love him. Agree he would have to prove something in terms of instincts, but the size/speed/agility combo is worth it to find out.

Well I have played both DE and MLB in HS and can tell you there is a huge learning curve when making the transition.

Its not about him being stiff, it is about his instincts and what is going on between his ears.

Every DE we have brought in to play LB just can't develop the instincts necessary to play the position at a high level.

And I'm tired of wasting ships on guys who may never learn the position, especially when we already have Mike Smith, McCray, Wilder and Joyner already here trying to with Sam Brooks on the way.

Hopefully Brooks plays OLB for MNW this year to prepare him better.

And what do you have to say about this Deerfield **** saying he wouldn't go to Miami if we paid him 2 years ago?

Would take Rian Davis over Eaford even without that stupid comment.

Tarquin is pretty **** good...Sub Eguakan or another position if you have to sub for him

Wright is a beast. As for Tarquin, I subbed them b/c I thought Tarquin was a tackle and those other two were guards. I could be mistaken.

Qb:Johnson Jr
Rb:Crowley,McIntosh
Wr:payton
Te:Hodges
Ol:Neal,Tarquin,Putnam,Eguakan
Dl:Bogle,Harvey,Williams,Daxon,Munoz,Ingraham,Davis
Lb:Huff,Solomon,Brooks,Eaford
Cb:Brownlee,Couch,Stevenson
S:Richards,Smith

This group is very possible!! A dream class would be a little more star studded then this group.. BUT I would love to have this group as the Surge19' class add Battle and Lucas cause I think at the end of the day, they will be signing with SwagU...

QB-MJJ or pass, yea im one of those guys.
RB-Crowley, Carter, Carter reminds me of Walton.
WR-Payton is enough.
TE-Zip,Hodges, Kid from TX is intriguing too
OL-Kingsley, Tarquin, WV Kid, Neal most offensive player on the board.
DL-Williams, Harvey, Daxon, Munoz, Ingraham, Bogle, Davis, Idc wat the ratings are that would be the best DLINE pull in the country.
LB-Huff, Solomon, Brooks, no need for more build the dline n let these guys run around n make plays. Plus Stevenson n Smith can play in the box. Btw Stevenson is as big as a LB anyways.
CB- Couch, Davis, Brownlee
S-Stevenson, MAR, Battle
Ath-Mac

Thats 27 which I believe we will have a large class. 25-28 this cycle, great defensive haul to balance out that offensive haul from last year.

Y'all keep saying wright like he's visited or something. If anything as of today Kardell Thomas is more realistic than Wright.

Thank you! His name is constantly brought up here yet the kid has never visited nor have there been confirmed reports that he will visit. If he don’t visit he ain’t coming. Add Neal and push for Kardell and call it a class on the OL.

Carter ain’t coming unless McIntosh wants out and even then I don’t think he’s the next option

Oh I agree we don't have the greatest record with DE making transition all the way back to the Weavers (The one Weaver was ok)...But outside of maybe M-Rob, a lot of those kids we knew were borderline takes to begin with. Wasn't talking about the rest of Eaford's recruitment (i.e. the soph year comments), just that the coaches love him, and I like him too....Eaford/Davis a toss up to me, Davis a tad bigger, but a little less likely to stay at LB (although I wouldn't rule him out there obv). Eaford has better/agility, hips imo, although Davis's aren't terrible

Keeping Bogle and Stevenson home is pretty much a dream class, b/c I will be very surprised if those kids are not straight bought by some $EC team.

Looking like UGA for Stevenson and Tenne$$ee for Bogle,

Don't get your hopes up for these 2 that everyone is penciling into their mock classes.

Going to be the wild west in the $EC this cycle with Saban ****ed about last class and UGA's class, and now another Saban disciple in Pruitt at another $EC school and Auburn feeling left out of the NC after beating Baga and Baga still winning the NC, Jimbo having the big oil money boosters, L$U doing business as always and UiF scratching their head trying not to get left behind in the arms race.

Some Baga fans are saying they will out do UGA's record setting class and sign 10 5stars lmao.

There are only so many 5stars to go around, so the few south FL 5stars will have life changing money thrown at them (Stevenson, Lad$on and Bogle IMO) and it will all be about if these kids are on the take or not, and in most cases they are.

These big $EC teams lick their chops when they see Miami is their top competition for these kids, b/c they know it won't get into a bidding war b/c we just can't play that game.

Even Nevin (who wanted us to get the death penalty) said he could never get into the bidding wars for top recruits with $EC teams.

If we get at least one of Stevenson and Bogle we need to be jumping up and down, we ain't getting both.

Who do u think is the 3rd RB on the board? Wright maybe?
Well McIntosh technically since sanders is 1 and Crowley is 2. I think the staff isn’t really going after anyone hard because they expect to land McIntosh. They’ll take him and Crowley and save a spot not matter what for sanders. Outside of those 3 if they miss out of McIntosh or Crowley decommkts I think they go hard after guys like Emory, Cain, wright, Mellusi, and Carter. From those names Carter is 4th at best imo.

This was very hard to read. If getting the most 5 stars is the goal, Stevenson and Bogle do nothing to accomplish that as neither are 5 stars.

We are only taking 2 RBs - Crowley and McIntosh unless Trey Sanders wants in (Doubtful with Baga coming hard).

Richards is an ATH that wants to play RB, but may project better to DB, and coaches have told him he can play both ways.

Carter and Wright do not have committable offers right now.
