A final class of (including transfers):
Rb: Martin(transfer), MAR
WR: Payton, Jones
TE: Hodges
OL: Kennedy(transfer), ElGammal, Nelson, Clark, Washington
Offense: Martin can't play for a year but very good. MAR is an excellent athlete who could play rb, wr, or db. TE would be a disappointment without a second guy like Seither (guessing Maryland), and Hodges is at best a solid h-back/small TE situational guy. WR would be very good with both Payton and the underrated Jones. Finally the Oline wouldn't be as much of a disappointment with a final guy like Washington. Kennedy starts next year and Washington and Clark could be starters in 2-3 years. Nelson is a total reach and ElGammal has upside but needs a ton of physical work, etc. So two out of 5 are reaches and one only here one year.
DT: Munoz, Holley, Blissett, Harrison-Hunte, Nnoruka (transfer)
DE: Harvey, Williams
LB: Huff, Brooks, Asante
Cb: Couch
cb/S: Emerson
S: Smith, Sanguinetti
P: Hedley
Defense: Not enough defensive ends but one stud and another guy with very good upside. Maybe someone like Munoz can slide over to play DE given his quickness? We need a JUCO guy or another true frosh for sure at end. Holley is a solid rotational DT, Blissett and Harrison-Hunte have nice frames and athleticism, and Nnoruka allows a couple freshmen to redshirt. Would have a deceptively good lb class. Huff will be very good, Brooks is recovering but a lot of talent, and I'm sold on Asante's upside. DB class would have Couch who looked great all year and in post-season . Same with Smith as a safety or even longterm striker. A guy like Emerson has solid athleticism and ball skills and good length, and finally a mediocre athlete like Sanguinetti would actually be fine as a fourth db and 2nd-3rd safety as he plays a lot better than his combine numbers suggest.
Would give the offense a C+ due to no QB and not enough quality OL guys. Defense a B (probably B- without that third DE). And would likely finish around 20-22 in 247 rankings.
