The whole missing practices and missing meetings thing just boggles my mind...no wonder we haven't been consistent

it's actually sad that he has to tell us that we're young... we should know that by looking at the roster.. but we complain after each loss like we got a roster full of studs that are Jrs. and Srs

It might be true but its sort of overstated at the same time. In today's college football just about everybody is young, kids go where they can play early.

And if you think about it, all future NFL players (which is the standard at Miami) get on the field early. Think about all the studs in the draft the past few years and see how much of them played as freshman, 90% of them did. Nobody stays in college 4 years anymore, if you're good you'll start early.

He can't avoid mentioning it, every time we lose, people still question why like the sky is falling.. the reason is probably not going to change, but we're going to keep asking the same questions, so what's he going to do?

Once again, a result of the previous regime. As a Giants fan, I remember the turmoil when Coughlin came in and actually made guys be accountable. Guys were still stuck in the "Summer Camp" mode, where they felt like accountability and responsibility were just SAT words or something. Soon as we got some guys who actually honored and valued those words, we won championships.

Being a head coach is ALL about culture. It's all about fostering a winning environment that is process oriented. Al is still weeding out guys who have no desire to be fully committed.

It just sucks that guys like Jamal Reid and Storm Johnson were even recruited here, when they would rather blow some trees down, than study an opponent, or get their head in a playbook.

Not only did Shannon not recruit talent to UM, he also recruited poor character guys.

What's ironic is isn't this exactly why he was brought in, to change our image and keep things in order?

You two are really blaming this on Shannon??? So far this year two of Golden's recruits were suspended for something stupid... They never met Shannon... Come on now the guy is gone... You can't blame him for this... Cain never had an issue with Shannon... I mean we had threads pop up about true freshmen going off on the coaches... Lets quit with this nonsense... You can't blame RS for everything...
