Before visiting UM, Jaynard Bostwick's mother was hesitant to give her blessing to his being a Cane.

She'd lived in Miami before and didn't have good memories of the city.

"I'd said Miami wasn't an option, but now I visited - I saw how he interacted with all the players and it seemed he fit in," Jay-Ann Bostwick said. "And his heart is at the U. I really do believe he'll wind up at Miami."

She says if she has her way Jaynard will make a decision soon - possibly on Thursday when coach Al Golden is scheduled to take an in-home visit.

"I'm telling him please tell me (a final decision), it's not fair to keep everyone waiting, but I don't know when he'll announce," Jay-Ann said.

The visit sold her that Miami would be a perfect fit for her son.

Tidbit about Keef's visit From Mom.

"I'd like him to stay somewhere in Florida - I hope he does to go to Miami," Linda Bryant said. "That way I would be able to go to his games. It would be close, not too far for us to travel.

"He's thought about staying close to Florida. He's not going too far, he says."

Linda was on the official visit with her son this weekend and says they both enjoyed it.

"I loved it - it was exciting," Linda said. "I've gone on just two visits with him - Miami and South Carolina. On the Miami visit we got a tour of the school, talked to some of the other parents. The coaches talked to us - a little family talk. When we did the tour they talked about how things would be going with him there, about academics, the football and all the basics, what he'd be doing there."

Yeah, something doesn't add up. It does seem like this dude is looking for reasons to bail.

I hate to say it, but this kid just doesn't seem like a "Miami" kid. By that I mean....he just gives off a "hey, look at me..I'm different" vibe...a Ricky Williams(y), "I want to immerse myself in white culture, white picket fence, two mixed kids, small *** dog, white trophy wife kinda vibe....

Green.

Good lord what a ******* horrible post from start to finish. Congrats.

+1 I'm getting tired of some of these idiots on the recruiting board. It's been getting worse closer to NSD.
