‘26 QB Dereon Coleman commits to Miami

I didnt see them in person so I probably didnt even comment honestly. They look like run of mill UM QBs of last couple decades.. Win some games, lose some.. Not generational, dont move needle, dont bring top of line WR to commit with them, etc. 7-5 QBs wash, rinse repeat for last decade.
Even Nickel?

He'll need to change his release point. His height, that'll result in a ton of balls being batted down at the line.
Think he can but he chooses side arm when lanes open which is fine. But yea we have to see it with a faster defense if he can process and bigger lineman pause

After watching Aaron Rodgers Enigma and seeing he was 5’11 175lbs when he graduated from HS it gave me hope that the football gods might throw some of that blessing Coleman’s way.

arm is there quick release etc.....if he can be calm sense pressure and throw with accuracy then we got a good one.
What’s really gonna set him apart is knowing where he wants to go with the ball base on how the defense is aligned before that ball is snap. Ward was really good at that.

If that's what you see when you watch Nickel then I have a place for you to visit.

I only saw him in one game in person so obviously not much but this is in shorts and in actual game he looked like Emory except he would just take snap, look around and take off. Once they tried taking that away offense was dead in water.. Kid is young, maybe he will develop but if you gonna be tiny you better be a phenom when lights on, I dont care about shorts 7 on 7.

Which game/ whom did you see Coleman's team play against ?

This was against state runner up Osceola HS, Coleman threw for almost 500yds.

Go Canes

I honestly thought this kid would reclassify when I saw how good he was in the classroom. He could develop his body the 1st couple of years before taking the reigns.
