Just wish he had a little more grit. This is what I've been wanting to see.
Jit going to be a problem
I think he shows a lot of promise on the mental side. His concerns are too much hero ball of holding it too long looking for big play and he's just small, maybe 5'10-5'11" and skinny right now but he has time to gain weight/strength and plenty of small qb's are successful in college.Possibly, but that has to translate to college, we will never know with qbs till we see them in college. They can look all world in HS and be straight cheeks when the talent around them evens out. I hope he is a problem though

doesnt look like he can add much to his frame tbh, so injury will always be a concern and taking big hits pauseI think he shows a lot of promise on the mental side. i hear you paranos but nothing in HS (in terms of speed and talent) can prepare you for college talent. Its a big jump no matter where you played HS, hope he is one of those dudes though.Jones HS has played against some of the best teams in the country & Florida don't be confused my Cane brother! And his private QB coach has produced 3 of top 10 QB's for 2025 in the country and two of top 10 QB's for 2026.
Go Canes
Physically he might only end up being slightly bigger than D'Eriq King was. But he looks to process info pretty well and that lightning release is something that can't be taught. He's an intriguing prospect.doesnt look like he can add much to his frame tbh, so injury will always be a concern and taking big hits pause
if he processes fast in college he will be fine, but we wont know till we see it at this level. We hope he does cause he has the tools like you saidPhysically he might only end up being slightly bigger than D'Eriq King was. For comparison what were your thoughts on Emory, Judd and Nickel?I only saw him in one game in person so obviously not much but this is in shorts and in actual game he looked like Emory except he would just take snap, look around and take off. Once they tried taking that away offense was dead in water.. Kid is young, maybe he will develop but if you gonna be tiny you better be a phenom when lights on, I dont care about shorts 7 on 7.
I didnt see them in person so I probably didnt even comment honestly. They look like run of mill UM QBs of last couple decades.. Win some games, lose some.. Not generational, dont move needle, dont bring top of line WR to commit with them, etc. 7-5 QBs wash, rinse repeat for last decade. For comparison what were your thoughts on Emory, Judd and Nickel?
Was hoping you didn't say that.I didnt see them in person so I probably didnt even comment honestly. They look like run of mill UM QBs of last couple decades.. Win some games, lose some..
