I don't think we are. The change in recruiting is palpable. Alot of the recruits we are after had strong relationship existing with Cristobal. I really want DL and OL commits. Those my main concern.

Agreed. Both lines are always the foundation of a great team and we need to start loading up on quality UM caliber OL and DL.

Having said that......Don't forget about CBs. We need them badly! Graves and Rogers make for a great start but we need 2 more IMO plus portal. That's how bad that position was left to atrophy under Bozo the Diaz. Phucking Clown!

We have a huge hole at defensive end. Early playing time is there for the taking although we will no doubt have portal guys or maybe a Cristobal recruit in there.

I don't think we have a "huge" hole at DE. I think we have talent that hasn't played enough. I thought McCloud played well, but Diaz basically chose seniority as he did at most positions where we only saw young players because of injury. I think Chantz Williams and Elijah Roberts get to the "next level." I was expecting Harvey to make that move this year, but he didn't. Perhaps next season the lights come on. Don't sleep on Ishmael. He's long like Greg Rousseau. I'm interested to see what he can do once he adds more size and strength. Also, don't forget about Thomas Davis. There's talk we may move to a 3-4. If so, he would be perfect in that scheme.

Each year we look to and get excited about new players signing on NSD. We tend to forget about them once they sign and we don't hear much about them when they're not playing. I expect to see improvement out of our young DEs. We do need to keep the train moving with highly skilled DE recruits. Stewart would be a homerun in the 2022 class. I don't know if we have a chance to sign him. It doesn't look like we have any other DEs on the board with any realistic chance of signing. We really need to get 2 quality DEs. I don't care about stars next to their names. Like Mario eluted to in his press conference. It's about the measurables.

There is an intriguing theory out there that the reason people are leaving Clemson is because it is already known within a select circle that this is Saban’s last year, and that Dabo will be coming on to replace him.

Why would they leave when Dabo most likely would have brought them along?

They are leaving because the run is over.

And this cycle was full of teir 1 coaching jobs open.

You either got the call or you didn’t.

It’s opportune to leave now and get a P5 gig while those rings and records set by Trevor Lawerence are still fresh on ppls minds before you end up at Arkansas State.

Sadly no. We normally go to Potomac Mills, but my youngest niece just got married and her husband is stationed in Norfolk, so we are going to visit them and give that one a try while we are there.
