Both could wind up at UF. All signs point to Scarlett as a Gator right now, and UF has been after Cronkrite as well. Good chance those two visit GVille the same weekend.

If we lose Scarlett to the lizards this staff needs to be blown the fvck up.


How do you lose you highest priority commit to one of your rivals, when that guy is supposed to come in to replace Duke?

Possible, but I doubt it happens. The staff is supposedly going all out for Scarlett, if he commits I doubt they take Cronkrite.

Don't get all worked up just yet. We still have some factors in our favor..He is a STA kid (Pro UM school), UF isn't in much better shape then us right now, and early playing time.

I agree that this changes a lot of things, but I am going to play the wait and see game here before I blow Al the ***** up..

He knows this staff has one year and they are out. Smart kid, I don't blame him one bit. This is the outcome of one school having an administration that cares versus one that doesn't.

But they have what we don't have; hope with a new coach. McElwain may suck as a head coach, but no one will know before NSD. With that said, if Scarlett goes to UF, it just tells me that he was looking to bolt anyway and if not UF, it would have been someplace else.

This. this is what Strong sells despite having a crappy year - hope for winning. Golden can't sell that anymore - he's a lame duck coach going up against an exciting offensive minded coach. Don't kid yourself...UF will be outperforming us soon enough. Their QB position is holding them back, but they'll get back quickly.

I'll be extremely depressed if the only back we get is Walton. We need to keep Scarlett.
