WR Malachi Toney reclassifies to 2025 Class

Toney led American Heritage team in receiving in 2023, putting up 49 catches for 773 yards and 8 TD.

The 5'11, 182-pounder brings excellent hands, route quickness, RB skills after the catch, and an alpha personality to the WR room. For reference, this is the WR I was referencing on the Canes Connection zoom and later in the Bank.

Malachi Toney is the 22nd commit in the 2025 class, joining QB Luke Nickel, RB Girard Pringle, WR Daylyn Upshaw, TE Brock Schott, TE Luka Gilbert, OT Jaden Wilkerson, OT Demetrius Campbell, OG TK Muex, OG Max Buchanan, OC SJ Alofaituli, DE Herbert Scroggins, DT Donta Simpson, DT Mykah Newton, LB Gavin Nix, LB Ezekiel Marcelin, S Hylton Stubbs, S Amari Wallace, DB Bryce Fitzgerald, CB Jaboree Antoine, CB Chris Ewald and DB Tim Merritt.

Freeze is a great closer but if they don't start winning, he will probably be gone. Auburn fans are getting tired of his act and he constantly throws his players under the bus.

The problem is what is behind him
got to stack at least one top 100 dt per class
Same way we do with edge players

If Miami announced that it was joining the SEC next year, Mario would have top 5 recruiting classes in perpetuity. Crowds matter. Stadiums matter. Competition matters. Big games matter. Winning games matter. This year Miami is doing that finally

He knew what he had here in every way and chose smoke a mirrors , we’ll pick him up on the back burner of the portal.

There’s not a CFB team that has there players and families best interests at heart then Miami.

He wake up and see when he gets off the plane and some kid is holding a sign with his name spelled wrong

We need at least two, preferably three new wide receivers in the pipeline each year to cover attrition. That’s where Larry Coker’s literal downfall came from - he could not recruit wideouts at a replacement level and entered 2006 with just six scholarship players (which included a two star player). After starting out 5-2 injuries and suspensions reduced that to just 3 players, meaning we were by default being rendered a running team.
