I’ve asked a few people I know that know Horton’s situation. Idk about extort.
He was victim of a sleezy agent in his ear telling him he’s going to get more money somewhere else. I’m sure we offered him fair money. It is what it is.
He wants to be WR1 here but willing to go be WR3 anywhere else. Didn’t make sense to me so I just let it be what it’s gonna be when that is the case.
horton has improved but he is not a #1 wr.
Time for NY Carr and Jojo to step up. Honestly, with the young wr talent we have and that is coming in, I would be fine if we were heading into 2026 but we need help next year. At least one more experienced guy.

Daniel’s is a nice stop gap whose got experience but I’m fine with JoJo, Carr, Robinson, and Toney figuring out on the practice field who wants the other open positions

Gotta disagree here. Is he Travis Hunter WR#1? No…But he's very good and I believe would have been one of the top 10-15 WR in CFB next year.

Come on. If he was staying no one would be saying this. I think he worked hard to improve but he would not he a top 15 imo. Maybe im wrong but I just don’t see it.

I definitely wish he would stay. Wasn't Bama where he originally wanted to play coming out of HS? We definitely don't want to go into the season with only Daniels having experience at WR with possibly Emory at QB. Ray Ray is about to get his shot at the Pop Tart so he better take advantage. I want a experienced slot.
