This wasn’t an undefeated team

Hardest part for me to accept is this is a supremely good offense and can carry you to a title with a decent d that gets timely stops. The coach3s are happy to say we’re not there yet than actually fix the issues and go all in. Next years schedule is a gauntlet and we won’t have Cam. We have to be all in on this year. The fans can’t want it more than the dudes paid a lot inside that building.

Syracuse might very well be a “play in” game for us.

Wake, we shouldn’t struggle. They are absolute ***…but hey, so is our defense.

Cuse, emotionally prepare for a Louisville-esque game.
When you can't play defense and you are coached by a walking Cuban sandwich, every game will be a struggle. Where is all of this overconfidence coming from?

Don't you mean Wake and Cuse

Hey @DMoney when do you think Dawson and Mario sit Cam down and tell him he needs to sometimes take the check down, instead of running around the pocket all the time (2nd down on the last drive) looking for the huge play.
He's a 5th year Senior. He's never going to learn to take the checkdown.

Was gifted some new Miami gear for my birthday this weekend. Knew we were cooked right there. I never buy any for myself mid season because I expect it to jinx us and bring an immediate loss.

I'm usually the exact same way. I thought "hey I'm in a good place financially and can travel. I'm gonna go ahead and get us set up for the big game". I should have knows better. We sold our souls for those past ships and paying the price now.

My biggest thing with the defense and this goes mainly to Guidry is that Guidry came out a few days ago and said that GT would try and hurt us on the edges…well guess what Guidry they did just that and 95% of that was to one side, the right and yet no adjustments.

We have guys on here that could call a better defense that Guidry does and if he’s here next year you’re gonna have to start to question Mario’s ability to be a HC especially when it comes to picking coordinator’s cause at some point you have to choose someone that actually knows WTF he is doing .A guy that when he knows where the other team is going to run makes adjustments and not one that still can’t or just plain refuses to adjust.

Mario will have ALL of his players in place next year so no excuses but he’s going to have to revamp a lot on the defensive side of the ball and very possibly have to pick another OC if Dawson leaves ( which I wouldn’t mind much cause I think a lot of his success is due to Cam and not his offense). This will be Mario’s third time hiring coordinator’s and so far I’d give him a C- at hiring them so far.

His next decisions have to hit and hit big if we are ever to get back to being relevant as to the NC.Mario is never going to out coach anyone and I think that’s obvious so he has to get coordinators that are top notch.Money doesn’t seem to be an issue so this is on you Mario.Need to go get us 1 maybe 2 top coordinators.

Lmao ok. They literally did whatever they wanted on offense.
Friend, I get this is an emotional time as you enter an egg laying cycle.

It will get better.

The sun will rise tomorrow. Our Canes will return to practice and get back at it.

Thank you…because the vaginas here want to delete my posts calling out the glazing owner of this site someone else had to. Even if they somehow make the playoffs actual teams worth a **** will roll Miami.
I'm never kissing DMONEY's a*s. He supported Manny until the end when people like me was saying that Manny was a bum and killing the program with his 7-5, 8-4 bs.

re: the wrs not getting separation, I can’t buy that our WRs don’t have the juice or technique to get off the line. Air raid is a system that gets the ball out quick and we have many plays where routes can be open right away. I thnk Cam wants to max each play opportunity and sometimes holds the ball too long waiting for the big play to develop.

Horton was getting open enough. The skinny slants/posts are always open it seems. Cam knew X was going to be open on that out and up. JG was getting open on 10 yard hitches. Cam just doesn’t take those right away with consistency. He rather see if a bigger play comes open. Maybe our WRs aren’t great scramble drill guys… but scarmble drills are not designed plays.

It’s going to be interesting to see how this translates at the pro level - the scramble drill play won’t play at that level for sure.
