The struggle at defensive back

Guidry's personal choices in back 7 are a problem.

Damari is an NFL talent. Damari (if healthy) and OJ are a good starting combo. Injuries to Isiah Thomas hurt us, that kid is a legit starting safety at peak health.

Nothing Damari has done on tape has shown him to be an nfl talent so far.

We of course can’t have productive receivers a good o line and Cam Ward paired with a down and dirty defense.

Cam will go onto the NFL and the QB problem will rear its ugly head AGAIN and all the 5 star corners/db's we need now will sign but then our QB sucks balls...

This cycle is called the never ending miserable life of a Miami Hurricane fan.

I’ve had patience for 20+ years of irrelevance, not to be negative but we fix one thing and the next falls apart. When will it all come together and click

From 2016-2018 we finished 12th, 20th and 4th nationally in pass efficiency defense.

DB coach responsible? Mike Rumph.

From 2016-2022 (seven recruiting cycles), we signed 2 DBs out of high school who were drafted.

DB coach responsible? Mike Rumph.

Basically our choice is the can or the can opener. We can't have both for some reason.

And Isaiah Thomas hurt us?

Bruh what are we even doing here
I had to do a double take on that name.

If we were counting on a hs prospect with two serious knee injuries to come in to be our starting safety in year 3 then it’s time to let some of the staff go

I know that’s not the case but that’s a wild take.

When we hit on a recruit it’s Mario da gawd.

When we whiff it’s the coordinator or position coach.

At the end of the day, everyone is at fault. No use crying over spilled milk, fix it and fix it fast - or 2025 might be a rude awakening without Cam.
BUT... Does Miami feel good here?

That is the question

I'm curious. How do you know Damari is an NFL talent? He hasn't seen much PT since he's been here; certainly not enough to make a statement like that. Are you at Greentree regularly?

Yea, but the plays he has made on Greentree are the stuff of legend.

so is al golden the best recruiter we had
he just didnt use the correct scheme
imagine him with no cloud and our current NIL
America is land of second chances. I mean...****..two tears in bucket, muthaphuck it. Bring Folden back! There no permanent friends or enemies in business. Throw him a little extra($) for the groceries.

My only request, Folden has No Contact with Dorito clause. I don't want dorito within 1000 yards of Folden. You can't see him at Thanksgiving, absolutely nothing.

QB problem?? Slowdown sir, that room isn’t in the rotation to be taken “personally” until year 6

he locked up Coleman for like 28 yards in 1st start, looked very good vs UF
not saying hes done enough, but hes looked good
That was kind of exactly the point I was trying to make. I'm not saying he's not NFL talent. I'm also not saying he is NFL talent. Why? Because a one game sample size isn't enough. If the homie who wrote that is at Greentree all the time and in the weight room to see what Damari is doing and capable of, I MIGHT put some credence into what was said. If not, it's a silly comment.
