Fong indicated that UGA is trending well with Kristopher Jones, LB out of VA. A mod on UGA board indicates that there's one spot left for LB's. If Jones takes it, that door may close on Cole.

He's big-time. Built like Hayes, but not as physical. I like him as a compliment to Pruitt, for sure.

Hayes, Cole, Flowers would be the pecking order of the remaining LB targets. Would love to get Cole or Flowers this summer and then keep chopping wood with Hayes. Four sounds like a lot but we would NOT have a ton returning next year. K4 no eligibility, Flagg ?, and maybe Francisco balls out and jumps to the league.

That would leave us with Wes as the elder statesman and four SOPH's or RS FR from 2023.

Am I forgetting anybody?

Chase smith? Forgotten about because of injuries but people should be excited about him if he’s healthy this year.

I think would definitely take both Cole and Hayes if they wanted in. Flipping Hayes and Kris Jones going to GA

Oh yeah, we'd take both, for sure. I think if Hayes flipped now, we may close shop on the group. If Cole wants in, we gotta take him IMO. High, high upside.

And as self-admitted star-glutton...I want him as a dude who will likely be composite Top 150 before it's all said and one.

- Miami landed a whale with the commitment of RB Kevin Riley (Tuscaloosa). As we've been reporting on the Bank for weeks, Riley was at the top of the offensive priority board. They view him as an everydown, impact back with a complete game and NFL ability.

- Last year, the end of June/beginning of July was red hot for the Canes. The same could be true this year. Miami is continuing to work hard on several defensive line targets that may be closer to a decision. David Stone (IMG), Aydin Breeland (Los Angeles), Dylan Stewart (Washington DC) and Marquise Lightfoot (Chicago) are names to watch.

- The staff loves QB Judd Anderson (Gray, GA) and his performance at a recent Georgia 7on7 only cemented that evaluation. He threw the ball all over the field and won the championship, drawing the attention of several other P5 schools. He appears to be secure in his commitment. Due to numbers, Miami has always told Judd that they are pursuing an additional QB in high school or in the transfer market. The staff is excited to see Elite 11 standout Trever Jackson (Orlando) throw in person this summer. There is real intrigue there.

- The story on WR Jeremiah Smith (Chaminade) is simple. Yes, he's visiting this weekend, but that recruitment will go down to the wire and depends almost entirely on our performance on the field.

- The Florida smoke with WR Chance Robinson (STA) is real but Miami is confident they will lock that one down with a good visit this weekend. Remember, we saw the same UF hype last year only to watch their class crumble. I expect something similar this year, especially once the team starts playing and losing.

- Name to keep an eye on at tight end: TE Davon Mitchell (Los Angeles). He is a 2025 kid that will reclassify to 2024. He's visiting this week for his second unofficial and commits in a few weeks. He may be the top tight end in the nation, regardless of class.

- WR Drelon Miller (Port Arthur, TX) is still in the picture. Miami sees it as a Texas A&M/Miami battle but a lot of credible people are saying that USC made a major move this weekend.

- Miami wants to see WR/TE Korey Duff (NYC) run in person to get a feel for his speed. Duff had a huge offseason for Team RAW in the 7on7 circuit and is a contested-catch machine. Kevin Beard is really pushing here.

- DT Justin Scott (Chicago) had a great time on his Miami visit but there is still work to do there. Miami is firmly in the game and has a very good shot.

- Miami likes where they sit with OT Deryc Plazz (Jacksonville) and loves his developmental upside. One name that is shooting up the board- German OL Moritz Schmoranzer. He really impressed Miami with his body type in person and has a huge personality. The athleticism pops on tape.

- This weekend's visit is big for elite OG Isendre Ahfua (Seattle). That one is far from a layup and there is work to do. On the plus side, guys like Jayden Wayne (from Tacoma) and Francis Mauigoa are major assets as recruiters.

- CB Jaylen Heyward (Rockledge) is a flip candidate this weekend. He is a Georgia commit but Miami has been working hard there for a while.

- We reported a couple weeks ago that WR Jacorey Barney (Palmetto) really impressed Miami at their camp. He is emerging as a serious target at WR. Another name that blew everyone away at camp? Recent West Virginia commit Romanas Frederique. He is a CB/WR/PR with length who recently transferred to St. Thomas Aquinas from Deerfield Beach. Big-time upside at corner and Miami is very interested.

- Miami feels they are right in the mix with DE Elias Rudolph, who announces on July 3rd. Michigan is another top contender there.
just my $.02 but we HAVE to close on a couple of the big fish along the DL. If we can land 3-4 absolute difference makers on the DL, honestly the rest of the class is just gravy.
QB room, I think we'll always be an attractive option for portal QBs and have a few great development guys waiting in the wings
RB room is ELITE again
WRs are in wait and see mode and if our offense takes off this year as many think it should, we'll have no issues getting WRs that want to play in this system
TEs are never a question at TEU
OL obviously not worried about OL with Mirabel and MC
LB room looks vastly different then just 12 months ago
DB room looks vastly different then just 12 months ago

again, add ELITE, difference makers along the DL and we're a scary roster going into next year!

More importantly, D$ keeps highlighting other LBs and doesn't mention Cole. Multiple editions of the bank now. Previously the explanation was he was hearing the other names more. Cole is visiting this week. Hopefully the outlook will improve with him. Gotta believe Rohan will do everything humanly possible here.
which I don't get. I LOVE Cole. Kid is an athlete playing LB. If he wants to be at Miami and we'd turn him away, I'd be p*ssed!!

Not worried about QB recruiting. Judd is a good devopmental guy and there will always be a couple top tiered QB's entering the portal each year looking for playing time.

I've resigned myself to the fact that we're more than likely not getting any game changing WR until Dawson shows the product on the field is different. The damage from Gattis was brutal.

It is what it is.
You may be right, one huge positive is the transfer portal can give some instant impact guys when the offense shows out.

You lot have no idea how beautiful German women are.

I'll bet this is a pretty accurate statement for US men in general. Probably underestimate the talent there.

If I was putting together a global puzzy watching expedition, tbh, Germany would not have been on my short list of places to stop. But I'll bet I'd be blown away if I ever visited there.

On another note, myself and my esteemed colleague @JD08 were combing over some new global data this morning that just came out. Some of you professional and amateur motorboaters might be interested in the findings
