Hoboken is in New Jersey, and yet every morning half of the town crosses the Hudson to go to work in NYC.
Edwardsville is in the St. Louis MSA. The M stands for "metropolitan". The S does not stand for "state". Cities can sprawl into more than one state.
I mean...it's a valid point...I've heard all the "Misery" jokes from my relatives...
It's just a weird subject. Again, I don't deny @Geddy Lee his state pride. But those of us who are from the Missouri side can't control the geography of river cities. My relatives have had lots of friends who live in IL and drive over the river to work in the A-B brewery or other jobs.
A good chunk of the Cincinnati MSA now lives in Kentucky. It happens.
Impressive by Georgia with only 10 million people in the state.

It's almost as if they forget who our Head Coach is. He may have his challenges in certain areas but I expect Top 10 recruiting classes yearly with Mario. He'll do that without trying.

Miami with upgraded facilities, Money, and Mario we will always have a top ten class. Some years it may be 10 some maybe 5. But somewhere in there. When the bag is the same Miami will win more then most. This BS about how kids are looking elsewhere is funny. And by the way, there’s studs outside the state of Florida. His game day coaching scares me. Not recruiting

Given that Georgia invests heavily into it (for good reasoning), I wouldn't say its expected, but it doesn't surprise me.

This is how it feels to me as well. Obviously football is taken more seriously in certain parts of the country, but I agree that much of this feels manufactured for the fan bases. I live in Georgia and I know there are lots of good athletes here, but I don’t believe there is something so unique about Georgia athletes that we have such a disproportionate number of 5 stars relative to our state population.
I'm feeling the same as you on this one CT. I just want to experience a year of recruiting with us making a ACC championship/playoff run. Mario with that type of firepower in his pitch would be INSANE!!!!!!
He has to prove it on the field and not cost this team games. It seems like no matter the coach we have a position group that shouldn’t be weak but us and it costs us. The GT game ruined last year. There’s no reason this team shouldn’t win 10-11 games. Then we see how Mario can recruit. My guess is top 5 class
