Miami is a dope city to live in, The []__[] is dope place to learn, and playing for JT would be a dope opportunity.

Getting these kids on campus is a positive development after a big time commitment to facilities, dorms, NIL & coaches; but let's not get ahead of ourselves, we're still in the gathering stages of this rebuilding process.

I’m glad players are straight up telling Mario “do it on the field this year and I’ll hop aboard”. The honeymoon is over. No more top 10 classes after going 5-7. All the sales tactics in the world don’t matter if your actual football product sucks. We go 8-4 or better, look out.

Winning/results matter...

As they should...

I'm going to get killed here but I read all of that as:
"lots of kids said positive things after the visit but nobody committed that we desperately wanted so time will tell."
I'm perfectly fine with that and is what I expected after the season we had. I don't play the slurps vs mopes game. Just a realist. Hopefully things fall in place. Especially along the DL

So is Flowers not as interested in Miami or the other way around? Just curious as to why you @DMoney don’t think he ends up here.

With LJ McCray is Florida the real threat here or is Georgia or another program more of a threat at this point?

Jalen Carter? Ooohhh. I like that! Good call.
Yea either one of those guys. He isn’t as quick as LT but not many DTs are but he is still athletic but he shows some physicality and ability vs the run too and he is already 290. He will easily be 305-310 range

I think most are forgetting how much of an uphill battle it is for us in recruiting.

Every top kid that we are heavily recruiting is being negatively recruited by other schools. That’s going to be a given because quite frankly we haven’t shown anything in 20 years. You combine that with minimal fan support and an absolute train wreck of a season this is what’s expected. **** we’re still getting dogged for our 80 yard IPF.

Obviously it’s early and the season hasn’t started yet, but you would have to be in complete denial to think that everything is fine regarding recruiting. Recruiting right now is lackluster. But that doesn’t mean we aren’t trying. Staff is going hard, but no big dice yet.

In my opinion the staff really needs to hit on these evaluations Or we are going to be in big trouble. We got a free pass last year, but that won’t happen again this year if we have a bad season.

That was over 40 years ago and has no relevance to recruiting in 2023
I don’t agree. These guys Schnells recruited could have gone to the Alabama’s, Oklahoma’s, or Notre Dames. They had plenty of boosters and bags back then. They still came to play for what was a perennial door mat of the college football world.

NIL levels the playing field but you have to sell more than that. You also have to convince these guys about building their legacy, playing for their home town, what you can do to develop them, and bringing the U back, etc.

@DMoney How would you compare this potential 🌟 DL haul vs Texas A&M ridiculous 🌟 DL class
If we got all of these folks here, this would be one of the best Dline classes all time, and expect to be playing for a Natty in 2 years. But compared to A&M I think it would be about the same in terms of talent, we’d be more like Clemson in ‘18
