2 throws behind the LOS. One 2 yard crosser. One 3 yard out. And a decent 12 yard out. Not a lot of zip on any. No bigtime throws. Yeah... think i'm going to need more.

Dorsey played over 20 years ago on the most stacked roster we might ever see. The game has changed, as have the roster depth with portal/NIL.
We have enough talent on offense to have a game manager back there, despite losing all of our receivers and probably our top back. We don’t need someone that can make something out of nothing like Cam. Our defense can keep us close as long as we upgrade every position in the portal and bring in a good DC.

Was having our best offense in school history and a heisman finalist QB fun? Sure. But you can’t do that and also win games.

I know everyone is asking about certain WRs playing in bowl game… I do have a question, how many games have the youngins played? I get we will be without at least 2 for bowl game, but if a RS Frosh is at 4 game limit, is it worth blowing the RS for the Pop Tart bowl? 😂

Coaches know what we have in Emory, so let it play out. That said, can’t get excited by Ball State highlights. Also big fan of Nickle, but don’t get carried away thinking he’s ready to start as true freshman.

That Bank was definitely not a bad one. Hopefully all that comes to fruition.

I do think Mario's stubbornness bites him in the *** more often than not. We should have put our eggs in the Arnold basket first in my opinion as Mateer was a long shot.

I'm cool with Mendoza as long as we add 2 more proven receivers in the portal. KC would be a good one.

We add Lucas, Stanley, and Wilson to Poyser that would a A grade portal haul for the secondary in my book.

Blay would be solid to add to the rotation as well.

Mendoza only threw 16 TD passes, with 6 INT’s. To put this in perspective, Cam Ward threw for more than twice the TD’s, the same number of INT’s, and over 1,100 more yards. Cam’s QB rating was also more than 31 points higher.

Instead of paying a mediocre QB big money to give you mediocre play, use the money to get top CB’s, DT’s and WR’s in the portal, and let Emory battle Luke. Nickel is a future star in the making (in my opinion), and will beat Emory out for the job. With this next year’s schedule, we’re not gonna win more than 8 games, even with Mendoza. Let Luke start and gain the experience that he’ll need to lead us into the future.
I said nothing about paying him big money. I would bring him in at a decent price. I want to win. A 7-5 season next year will hurt this program tremendously

Remember when Jake Garcia was lighting up Central Connecticut

If your a Howling Wolf type for defense..you had to like that Bank.

While I agree with most of this post and do not think Mendoza is the next Cam Ward, California also ranked like 123rd in QB sacked percentage and Mendoza was sacked more than 40 times. Comparing statistics alone is grossly misleading.
