"Christian Clemente (Auburn 247 mod) and I are hearing the Tigers are in a really good spot for USC cornerback commit Shamar Arnoux.

Feel great about Auburn's chances here.”
Auburn, Texas, Oregon dropping bags like there is no tomorrow.

Pretty much sums it up. 😂

To be fair, if you look at our OL recruiting, we aren’t exactly killing it there, neither. These coaches think they can get mid talent and turn them into stars.
Cooper, Cici, Mccoy his first two classes. OL players take 2-3 years to develop. I’ll withhold judgement on Samson, Kinsler, etc til next year.

Portal Lee and Cohen

Portal this year Carpenter, Bell

I count at least 3 NFL guys in these groups.

His missed block on the screen to Arroyo prevented what should have been a chunk play and a red zone opportunity. We ended up turning the ball over on downs a few plays later.
Did he missed the block or did the safety the diagnose the play and was able to put himself in position before Markell Bell could get to where he needed to be and put hands on the guy.

Too many projects for my taste but we will see. Now, next year, our 26’ OL class will be looking really different.

Pretty much every HS kid is a project. It’s why I think you’ll see more and more dependence on the portal throughout CFB. Especially at the high bust potential positions.

Defender read the play and was already past him by the time he got out there. None of our OL would have covered that ground. Laughable that people think that was on Bell.

Not caping for Bell, but that was an extremely tough block for any OT to make. The defender was running full speed following the motion and already had leverage on Bell the second the ball was snapped. I don’t think Rivers, nor Mauigoa would have been able to get out there either.

*SN, I do think Bell will be fine, take another step next season and turn himself into a draft pick. 1st round? No, but I can see him going round 3-5 after another year of development. Francis, Rivers, Cooper, all developed from Y1 to Y2 under these guys, why can’t he? He has elite size, and is an above average run blocker. Someone will 1000% roll the dice on him.

Yep. That’s a play design issue, not a player technique problem in that instance.

Solid but hardly elite.
Go back and watch their film. Cam and Dawson do them no favors. If we ran off tackle like we should we would be running for 250 a game. Same with the pass if we just asked them to drop back and protect for a normal amount of time wed be top five in sacks.

@DMoney has Miami staff contemplated playing NIL game with Bryce Underwood or any other stud 5 star QB? Or do they think it’s more beneficial to disperse the NIL evenly?

Well you just shifted the convo to something else. You said elite and said you saw 3 NFL players there. That’s not elite. 3 NFL first rounders plus other NFL picks would be elite. You guys place and use these words that just don’t apply all the time.

Now since you want to switch the point of discussion, we can do that as well. We haven’t played any one good yet and against this middling comp our OL has not dominate and therefore hasn’t performed at an elite level either. The best DL we played was against an 1-7 FSU team and they got to Cam consistently.

We have a good to very good OL right now but saying they are elite is utter nonsense.
