Carter news is interesting. Gaby didn't sound too promising on that front, so maybe just a product of how fast things change with this teenage kids.

I bought a couple bigger ticket items on Ebay a while back. I noticed that the price didn't move much until the last hour and usually the last few minutes of the auction, when it was clear that there were multiple bidders (or not). Suspect we're seeing something like that here.

This thread would read completely different if we'd beaten GT. I don't know if people are bipolar, trolls, or just need to lift more.
They don't change out their tampons often enough and many are entering the psychosis phase of Toxic Shock Syndrome. You can tell by the comments that are overly emotional and rely on far too much hyperbole.

There’s no way people are trying to compare Lagway to Emory. Delusion at its finest.

Update is promising, just don’t let UF outspend us.

How about to DJ Uiagalelei?

DJU 24/7 writeup as a recruit:
Big, strong armed quarterback with generational arm strength. Has a big frame but looks lean and is well put together. Has one of the strongest arms in recent memory and has won ‘long ball’ contests with a throw of 80+ yards. Is much more than a big arm. Shows great touch, accuracy to all three levels of the field and greet natural feel for throwing the football. Understands when to take a little off, throws with anticipation and is a plus athlete as well. Has the ability to run zone read and is a very good runner in the open field. Can buy time and is accurate throwing down the field rolling out to his right or his left. Natural leader and a great teammate who is also a potential high round draft pick in Major League Baseball. Can still improve going through progressions and finding secondary receivers as well as escaping pressure. Upside is off the charts. Projects as a impact upper tier Power 5 starter and future early NFL draft pick

DJL 27/7 writeup as a recruit:
Dual-threat quarterback with enormous potential given rare athletic frame and natural arm talent. Still very much a work in progress as a passer, but improved in almost every key statistical category as a senior while leading his high school to its best finish in over 60 years. Owns ready-to-play size as he’s over 6-foot-2 and pushing 230 pounds. Has the upper-body strength to attack all different levels of the field and the velocity to challenge tight coverage windows. Gets the ball out super quick and loves to manipulate angles. Flashes some touch here and there, but needs to get more consistent at hitting his marks. Makes throws off-platform and on the move like few others in recent cycles and isn’t afraid to take a hit. Dynamic as a runner for someone of his stature and can generate big gain after big gain, whether that’s off-script or by design. Game appeared to slow down a bit for him towards the tail end of prep career, which in turn led to fewer mistakes. Only going to get better as a distributor if he can sync his feet up with his arm and keep improving as a post-snap decision maker. Should be viewed as one of the top overall talents in the class and a signal caller that could blossom into an early NFL Draft pick if it all comes together given ability to air it out and gash defenses with his legs. Likely will need a developmental year or two before he’s ready to go on Saturdays, but could be utilized in situational packages early on as he can create some magic.

Don't let the Gators outspend us. The team has taken care of that rivalry on the field. Let's not lose it as a fanbase.

Join the cause and be part of the solution: www.canesconnection.com/cis
There needs to be a way for smaller monthly contributors to participate. Either a smaller set or arbitrary amount, or an additional one time amount one can add to the annual CIS renewal fee. Some of us might have limited amount of disposable income. Every dollar counts. Just my thoughts.

If you just look at the scoreboard sure. If you watched the tape from both games it isn’t even close in comparison
My point was that Kentucky and LSU aren’t good teams so getting really excited about beating them isn’t something I’d do. If UF fans want to go Gaga over a guy who was barely 50% against a garbage Kentucky and mediocre LSU team, they can. But just like I wasn’t doing backflips about Emory “beating” a much better Clemson team, I’m not buying the hype about Laggay “beating” Kentucky or LSU.

DJ belongs in Conference USA

Which DJ? DJL may end up being a total stud. Nothing about him looks that way to me now. Looks very much like DJU as a freshman. I will admit he has more grey matter. I will also admit I thought Jordan Travis was overrated after his first couple of years. But if DJL does become a great QB, he'll follow the Travis trajectory, IMHO. I do not see a polished QB by any stretch of the imagination going into 2025. I definitely do not want to pursue him as our QB if he hits the portal, which is now highly unlikely.

I agree he has looked okay. But he’s a true freshman and has won two massive games against Kentucky and LSU. I understand Kentucky is down but it’s still a tough team to play as a true freshman.

If a true freshman miami qb beat lsu and Kentucky this fanbase would be even more insufferable, trust me
Emory beat a Clemson team that’s been beating us down like crazy for years… in your definition that’s a massive game!!!

3 loss(now 4) LSU team and a 4-6 Kentucky team…

Two 3 stars and one 3.5 star. The DL that flipped from UGa is 3 stars on 3/4 of the services (ESPN has him as a four star) and his listed weight is 380 (per ON3). This smells of UGa cutting bait. The other two are FSU implosion debris. Funny how the graphic completely omits that.

Lagway vs Emory? Whatevs. We got a lot of low T Beta b!tchbois on this forum.

Need ole Lane to embarrass UF this Saturday.

Knowing him he will definitely try.
Whenever I count on a team to do what their supposed to it never happens. Hope I'm wrong on this one and Ole Miss beats the brakes off of them.

Some wild **** getting insecure about Florida

Napier recruited well last year too. Their average recruit rating was better than our top 3 class people like to talk about

They’ll get players

Watch 3-4 UF 3 stars get nice bumps too. If you havent realized these sites need clicks to make money and massive state school fan bases are where the clicks are at or Miami who everyone hates to hear good things about (including some of our fanbase I'm convinced).

As for our class....I fully expect another fun final push. So I'm ready.

He’s not a good QB and the people sucking his **** in here now are only doing that because he’s a 5 star and they wanted us to get him last year.
