I get it that fans are idiots and can’t help themselves

But yeah I saw your posts it’s what made me look into him more. I don’t like to get too hung up on high school highlights anymore. It’s good to be aware but I want to see if they look the part when they get here and get around other good players. Recruiting sites lie about measurements and rankings too much anyway
correct thats why who guys are playing against rather more to me than camp or 7 on 7. even down here in s.fla i wanna know whta u did against the real team not highlights against po lil timmys.

This is why im a fan of when we go out o fstate we target power house programs for recruits as well

But dude did what he was supposed to do for sure

He obliterated everyone he was playing against 😂

Seriously
Though why is everyone calling him a te
I didn’t see Elite blocking in his highlight film
And he’s looks like a bigger outside wr than te
they should prevent him to getting to big
And make him an outside wr

he aint coming here to block my friend. lol

Lofton didnt have one blocking play in his highlight and a ton of plays at a rb.

Schott is a move tight end.

Gilbert was recruited to be the inline guy.

These days TE/WR can be a little interchangeable right? Arroyo sort of fit that bill he was more WR than TE

The guy from Tulane is the new Cam McCormick.

Completely.

Size helps, but ultimately a blocker is a blocker and it can't be faked/masked/substituted.

San Fran runs a two tight end set WHERE 4/5 of the eligible receivers can block.

It's the reason the Shanahan coaching tree averages 5.5 yards per carry and any running back looks like a all-pro.

It's truly something that needs to be studied and replicated. It's a contrarian offense in a contemporary spread offense era.

@JHallCanes

They'll make him gain weight anyway, that's what makes the jumps at the TE spot so difficult.
That the teams problem now especially on defense, they made them to big and slow . We need speed and imo our strength and conditions needs to be replaced

curios why he’s a te and not a wr
He looks more explosive and faster than most of our wr recruits
Probably because he can block well, run and catch well

Exactly I think they should just use him as a wr he would be a massive mismatch

I’m gonna sound like a homer but his build looks more like Keon Coleman and his film is explosive
I just hope they don’t waste him trying to fit him into a te

I feel he should be a wr full time
He seems like he should be outside every play
Would also be a nice big body to block on wr screens for our shifty little guys

I didn’t see Lofton blocking a lot in high school, but he sure as heck did it well when he got here
Lofton is more hback/full back
This guy should be wr all the way
Working purely as a wr
Moore should double as the te in my opinion

A tight end is a hybrid position, somewhere between a tackle and a WR, that’s like saying Lofton should work solely as a HB. He can do it all that’s the great thing about the position, big enough to seal a block on the edge, but athletic enough to beat the defense’s coverage.

Why should he work purely as a WR if he’s also really good at running the ball as well?
