Lane is forever an upgrade.
when sh*t hits the fan mario cant do anything...he cant even call a **** timeout or add up to see should we go for it or kick a fg all that has to be done for him.
Lane has won 10 games multiple times at Ole Miss which isnt in the same tier as Miami as a program.
Mario is a better recruiter, and the big money boosters would be more behind him but it kind of ends there for me. He surpass my szn total wins this year because i had us at about 8. So this was a good szn for him...not making any excuses for him or Lane...Just that some more was right there for the taking and we just didnt have enough from our coaches to take advantage of it.
another thing is this "Mario blows games" He has improved but I agree he's not some brilliant strategist but we forget Cam fumbling at the end of the GT game? We forget for about 3 quarters vs. GT, Cam couldnt do anything?
We forget JG getting a bone headed 15 yard penalty when we could have walked the ball into the end zone against cuse? X with a fumble?
Not everything is his fault. We only blame players when Lane loses a game?
Also, lane might not have boosters but he also doesnt have refs missing calls and calling back td's every game either.

Bro this staph (one guy in particular) has made me look bad in front of so many parents and high school coaches I can't even refer kids anymore tbh. I keep 90% of the negative **** I know off the boards but sometimes some of it has to get out. I can't in good faith keep giving us the benefit of the doubt. Our defensive evals have been **** poor and that's putting it nicely.

Mario next szn is important on changing the trajectory of the program. Schedule appears tougher than this year.

Your last sentence is opposite of your point. Did not Lane have every opportunity in front of him going into the UF game? His QB committed turnovers at a bad time so did Restrepo. Lane has no excuses and neither does Mario they both went all in and didn't make it to their conference championship games. Equal losers in this case except Lane lost to Kentucky.

I believe with him it's about the money but Guidry is horrible at recruiting.

I wouldn't be shocked, they have to find a way to get Billy the talent he needs to cash in on Lagway. That said, UF better hope these evals are legit because if they aren't, they will be hamstrung for years to come.
It's frustrating that Miami, despite being competitive in the NIL space, and putting together a great season, with a ton of future potential is still stuck fighting teams that haven't done a **** thing in YEARS, and kids are fine flocking to schools that have shown significantly less. That said, Mario has found a way in the past, he will again.

Yall talk about the south florida kids..but the centrral florida up to jville kids are the most delusional bunch....thats uf-fsu territory and their coaches to communities typically sell them down the river and try to destroy everything about Miami.
