My guy, if Harris starts at safety next year we are ****ed. I know we are going to the portal for a safety.
I agree.

I'm just surprised he hasn't had more playing time taken by ZP by now and I don't see a true freshman taking his playing time away when he's had another year in the system.

Patterson hasn't played well enough to get starter snaps.

Against GTech he was completely lost in coverage & actually ran in the wrong direction in ball pursuit on a run play.

They could put him back there if they want to, but the results wouldn't be much different from him & JHarris.

Zaquan starting next year with a big time portal safety we vet. Then Stubbs be safety #3 in the rotation
lol Williams still starts for us and their giving snaps to markeith this year. guidry ain't gonna change

eyes were never on the QB, that's a coaching problem

No it isn't. That's a player problem.

You get taught in practice from High School as a Safety how to read your keys. Every week in film session the DC & your position Coach will run down the scouting report of the team your facing & literally break down the plays they run & tell you what to expect. Then in practice, they will drill it over & over again what you're supposed to do in specific situations against specific plays.

If a SAFETY doesn't have his eyes on the QB, then that's 1,000% on the Safety. As a Safety, you literally have no other responsibility than to watch the QB on every single play & adjust according to what happens pre & post snap.

How on Earth could that be a Coaching problem if watching the QB is literally apart of your job description as a DB???

I thought he was a CB as well but his 247 profile lists him as a safety.

I think he’s always been listed as a safety on that site. Was definitely looking to showcase as a corner, hs bowl games had him rep at CB and he showed well during week of practices there if I remember correctly.

ZP has not shown enough in game to feel good enough to give him a starting job next year.

Just like most things in life the blame is normally somewhere in the middle.

listen if a player makes a dumb *** play thats logically his fault and you see its his fault then its his fault lol, but you can always blame the coach if they recruited them.
