Hopefully guys like Jaboree and Amari are coming in relatively 100% from there injury. A lot of the times we take these kids that get injured and they aren’t fully go until the middle of the season

Dudes see a photo (a photo?) of an EE TF coming back from a bad injury that erased his HS season doing the (easier) football version of a tree pose and declare him ready to contribute?

We've somehow managed to lower the bar for Greentree All-American status.
What a dumb comment

Says the guy who didn't play a snap his senior season sees a still shot in shorts and declares him "on the very good end" of his medical recovery.

Big lol, Dr. Cali.
So do you view him running around exactly 6 months on the dot since he compound fractured his leg a good sign of his recovery? or a bad one?

Is he running around? At what speed? For how long? When? Is he cutting? Just straight line?

You saw a still shot of a dude standing on one leg and from their you imagined him running wind sprints and started making statements about his prognosis.

A photo of him doing workouts with all the rest of his teammates without anything on his leg. This isn't just a photo of him randomly walking around campus lol. Even then it'd be a better sign than if he were still in a boot or on crutches.

6 Months from day of Compound Fracture. Already working out on the leg regardless in what capacity and for how long. lol. There are many compound fracture cases where they don't reach this stage for closer to a year.. He was running at 70% over a month ago based on info on the first page. Hopefully he makes a full recovery and regains full performance, but hey **** me for saying anything positive, right? lol

What is the precise nature of the compound fracture Wallace had? What medical procedures were utilized in his treatment? Was any hardware installed? External or internal fixation?

How many active, healthy teenage athletes who suffer a compound fracture are still in a boot after 6 months? Still using crutches after 6 months? Able to walk under their own power after six months? Able to stand on one leg after 6 months? Able to run short distances after 6 months?

What "stage" of Wallace's recovery is he currently in? These other "many cases" that don't reach his "stage" for a year, what can you tell me about those individuals? The procedures performed? Their age and comorbidities?

is the answer to most of these questions, you have no ******* clue?

That's the answer to 96.4% of the **** they/them posts.

You added this part after I responded, so to the above I will say it is not **** you (or anyone else) for saying anything positive. Wish the young man well and good health. Be happy with his progress. Cheer on his continued success and hope for the best. I'm right there with you.

But, for me, it is absolutely a giant **** you to you (or anyone else) who takes tiny snippets of information about a kid's recovery from injury and runs with it into fantasy. All it does is create unfair expectations. And if he doesn't meet those unreasonable expectations, people become disapponted and overreact emotionally.

Let the kid heal. Wait and see. And for the love of God at least wait to see him suited up in one full contact practice before opining on his contributions this season or recovery from injury.

What unfair expectation is it creating to say he's recovered better than expected to this point? lol
