I’m certainly no QB guru but his sophomore film I saw a ton of throwing to spots. It wasn’t the typical throw to the wide open guy high school stuff that eventually gets in trouble in college and the pros

I asked if his dad was a coach or something because his knack for the position was wild. Certainly made up for anything he lacked in arm strength or throwing ability (at the same)

His IQ just looked off the charts so young
I saw him play in person early in his junior season after he committed and he completely controlled the game with his decision making, vision, arm and feet. If he was 6’4 he’d he a 5 star.

If we had the foresight to have Berlin in shotgun all game running a spread offense, we’d be practicing today at the Brock Berlin Indoor Practice facility named in honor of our two-time heisman winning qb who earned us our 6th and 7th rings

I remember the 2004 game at the OB vs VT. During the game the announcers had Steve Spurrier call into the broadcast to promote Spurrier's game with the Redskins. Anyways, during game Spurrier reflected on Berlin's time at uf and he stated that he was a different QB from the shotgun vs under center. In Spurrier fashion he asked out loud why Coker had him under center as he was a gunslinger from the shotgun. We had some ****** coaches.

Didn't Sam Howell, a popular Nickel comp., start his freshman season? IF Dawson stays, I could see it. In a new system things could get chaotic.

They also went 7-6 that year. I'm not sure what our record would be but I'm confident we wouldn't be in the ACC championship game again next year. Going into year 5 with Mario still hoping to make an ACC Championship appearance would be wild to say the least.

It would be interesting to know what the staff is telling LN5.

I know Luke doesn't have prototypical measurables but I'm still surprised UGA took a kid from OH over him. Can't wait too see Luke in orange and green!

I’ve been saying this same thing for years. Coker was a terrible HC who couldn’t get out of his own way. Berlin was incredible from the shotgun, but Clappy insisted on having him in the I-formation and under center for almost every game. Every time we were behind d and he went shotgun, he was incredible.
