I don’t think brown will be the most productive but he is our most complete wr.

Also we talking #1 wrs…Rambo was a clear #1 i think brown nfl projection is better but for college i can’t say he’s better than Rambo, and its 2024 X was a clear #1 last year from the slot

Wondering what our DT rotation will look like.

Clark and barrow are the starters and I keep hoping someone can supplant cook as that DT3. We need to have Campbell and Moten to take that next step.

Any word on Horton?

Horton needs to be more disciplined and consistent. The talent is their. The others can be discussed in about 8 days.

This position actually worries me more than the secondary. Especially against UF. We are stout at DE.

The DT rotation realistically looks like this

Barrow
Clark
Campbell
Moten
Cook
Scott
Horton

We have to be able to stop the run. Our last game out against Rutgers wasn't too **** good.

I think Brown can be better than Rambo. We just haven't seen it yet. Rambo won a lot of 1 on1 deep passes, where he bailed out TVD. Brown seems like he can do it all which is why he projects better to the NFL.

Couldn’t agree more. Barrow and his health are big for me (not that he’s injury prone)

I was underwhelmed with what I saw at MSU but same time acknowledge he’s absolutely the best we’ve got. I love what Guidry does with the DL and I’m really hoping to see Barrow be the key piece

+1

I think Clark and Barrow are solid. Beyond that makes me nervous. Moten is ok but haven't seen much flash. I think he can be a nice rotational guy. I am super nervous if our DT3 is Cook, who is undersized.

Agree. Seemed like Barrow was more of a penetrator/passrush DT much like Cook. We recruited DT well last year, but those guys are still young pups. Horton can't stay healthy and Moten seems like a rotational JAG. Hopefully they'll move Mesidor inside to help Barrow.

They are kinda different, i think rambo is a better deep threat because of his contested catch ability and long speed but brown is better after the catch. And rambo was a more complete route runner with better releases in college thus far imo but he didn’t have the strength and explosiveness like brown so his ceiling is lower for the nfl
