Only canes fan would complain about having a top 15 class when we haven't won crap in 10 + years.

I'm not one of the ones crying, but this isn't a top 15 class.

3 top WRs , All American CB isn't bad

Yeah this class should fall somwhere between 12-20 and right now it is 14 . So yes , yes it is.

You can say that (ESPN). You can also say it's not in the top 35 (Scout). The average ranking for the four major services is 25th. We have some nice players in the class, but it's not looking like a top 15 recruiting class overall unless you just want to see that.

 

Richards at Noon, then move on to 2017 class, and getting better on the field

 

Harabaugh came in to michigan last year trying to put a class together and it wasn't very good. If richards comes as expected that will be 10 players in the espn 300.

This team has been struggling in the **** acc, don't have fan support, and facilities are not on the level of elite programs. When you have all that against you, it's a must you win games.

Can ANYONE who is foaming at the mouth with how "awful" this class is explain that position OBJECTIVELY? Please use coherent language. For those howling loudest about losing a player to Tennessee, they were once an elite SEC program that of late has been on the rise. Good luck to any athlete who chooses to go there, just like Miami's program is on the rise with the recent staff changes.

I would offer this is a great class given the compressed time and uncertainty with putting a full staff in place.

Hopefully even better results in 2017 after a full year to work the wires.

Everyone knows the class is good, but today specifically has been a miserable day. These guys are paid to convince recruits to come here and they failed.

 

I'd be ok with being light at WR if we got one of Byrd/Carter and another ****ing DT.

This is a disaster, especially CB.

While I'm disappointed that Williams and Byrd flipped, the writing was already on the wall for a letdown even with the addition of Richt; we had no traction with any other recruits besides our own. These recruits are familiar with average performances over the years. Mark has to win first before recruits can trust him and our team.

2017 is going to be the class that turns the team around.

Preach!!!!! Some kids make incredibly dumb choices and that's not on the staff aat all. Give theman actual year of rrecruiting and we'll have that monster class

CMR and staff had about 2 weeks to recruit. Lets give them a year.

A lot easier to pull in top classes when the money is being handed out. Latrell definitely was paid. No doubt about it. That signing day pic tells you all you need to know.

Class count is an important factor with sites like Scout. If we have a small class, it will affect our ranking the most. Pointless to go by rankings in some cases.

i HAVE TO SAY... Watching our coaches being interviewed on ESPN, these guys have aggressive mindsets! No softies on this staff, which will pay dividends on the mentality of this team!

We may not land everyone we wanted this cycle, but once our style of play shows itself on the field, because these players will be pushed again, next cycle will be lights out!
