I mean, none of this means anything but for ***** and grins, let’s just say Cam plays the second half of the Pop Tart bowl and Miami wins and finishes 11-2. Where are they in this poll? My initial thought is probably right where Iowa state is but then I saw they jumped Ole **** above playoff teams.

Btw. We’re going to be preseason top 10 next year.

It’s just a rigged poll utilized for the upcoming season’s standings for the preseason polls.

I don't think there's much difference in teams #8 through #25..

SIAP, but it could have been a lot worse. Definitely would have been without Cam. Even with Cam, there were some ball bounces, fingertip catches, shoe-string tackles, close field goals, official reviews that could have bounced the other way to a 7-5 season.

Pre-season expectations, a season-opening trouncing of a rival, yet the inability to reach that hoped-for potential and the glaringly un-corrected defensive weaknesses all create a sense of failure not reflected in the win/loss totals.

I still can't fathom losing to ga tech and syracuse.

So much shoulda/coulda/ woulda this season.

¿Huevos? ¡No tenemos huevos!🤣

This was the best I could find…

Oh that is perfect! We can fill it with fresh mierda as needed. For instance, I would've overflowed it con mierda fresca after the Syracuse game.
This is some A+ work.

Btw, yo tengo huevos. Dos para ser exacto. Imagino que tambien tú los tienes tambien, pero no voy a investigar.

You can't? Syracuse won 10 games, and had #1 passing offense in AMERICA, their strength was our weakness. If we played them 10 times, not sure we win 6, maybe.

We hit our over on win total, so if you say season was a failure, I would argue it wasn't. We had #1 offense, had a Heisman finalist, won 10 games, beat our rivals, and were the most watched ACC team this season. It parlayed us into signing the best class in ACC, and best portal class in the league again, and we should be preseason 10-14 for next season, and be in the playoff mix again.

WTF

....we don't have our super star QB or Rb returning. What is the optimism do you know about that I don't. Are we dropping bigger bags or etc.....
We need some "ifs" to land, but...

IF...Beck heals up right and stays upright throughout the season.
IF...we add one stud MLB.
IF...we add one more quality WR.
IF...we add a depth piece running back.
IF...Heatherman gets us to at a top 25-30 D.
IF...Mario takes ST's seriously this season beyond the kicker and punter

Then, yeah, I see us having a very good season where the sky's the limit. We come into the season with perhaps the #1 OL in the country or at least top 5.

We have a more physically talented WR room than we did this past season. Read carefully - not BETTER, but certainly faster and I believe in Beard's coaching.

We have proven and seasoned talent at the top 2 in the RB room and 2 other RB's that have game breaking speed.

The TE room will not be as experienced, but Lofton can be every bit of the difference maker that Aroyo was and Luke's brother and the other transfer TE, should bring the blocking and catching that we lost with our 9 year vet leaving.

The DL room is perhaps the the most talented on the entire team and now, we HOPEFULLY have the DC to use them correctly. We'll see if JT can mold them.

LB room is talented and with the addition of one stud, should be just fine.

With the addition of Lucas, our secondary should be set.

This team, if Beck is healthy and Heatherman does what he should do, is better than the ND team that just played in the title game, PSU, Clemson, UGA (without Beck), etc.

Lots of ifs, but they are all realistic "gettable" ifs. Those come together, then yes, I do believe the sky is the limit. Here's to hoping that we finally get a season where all of our ifs come into a alignment for a special season.

QP very conveniently leaves out the fact we had a 21-0 lead and blew it

So yeah, I agree with @dudenate in that I cannot fathom that we lost that game.

What's the excuse for Georgia Tech, who ran the ball 98% of their snaps? Do we just need 15 NFL players on the roster to fix that?

#18 was generous given we dropped 3 of the last 4 games. Everyone ahead of us seemed to get better or at least not drop off. We came apart at the seams and couldn’t fix it.

On the bright side I really like what MC has done since. Really hope he’s learned a lesson or two moving forward.

The over/under was 9.5 wins. Curious to see what Vegas thinks about next year
