Disappointing considering the offense and soft schedule we had; need to improve next season in order for the “trajectory” to reflect the narrative Mario is pounding the table about.
Season was a failure, hopefully next year Mario can field a team without any gaping holes which he so far hasn't been able to do.

Weirdest season ever. It was our most successful season in decades by a wide margin, and it was also the most disappointing by a wide margin.
But not better than Iowa State
Have to take it as a win for as bad as we’ve been. It’s like winning the national championship for us to finish the season ranked how putrid we’ve been.

How in the **** are we behind 4-loss Alabama. We lost 3 games, all by one score with final drives to win it. Last game of the year was a one score loss to 11 win Iowa State WITHOUT OUR QUARTERBACK.
Alabama's final loss came via 8-win Michigan.

We were. Just not without Cam and the no-shows. That bowl was 100% meaningless.But not better than Iowa State

Can't help but to think if Miami had an ok defense, we would have a 10 page thread celebrating the 7* title . Disappointing yes but given where some other programs are right now,(FSU Florida) Miami is not that bad off I guess.
