Davis average kickoff was 63.9 yards.
Borregales: 63.7 yards

Davis had a touchback on 45/61 (73.7%) of his kickoffs
Borregales: 59/91 (64.8%)

That .2 yards difference between Davis and Borregales might not seem like a lot, but it is.

Most of the kickers who averaged at least 64.3 yards, had touchback rates in the 80s. Davis is only short of that mark by 1.2 feet.

How are we feeling at PK? We've been spoiled for the last 5 years. We're gonna miss Borregales.
Nice work 🙌🏼

Nice to see coaches working the edges. Good additions

I’m dead. Rather than fix our coverage we decided to just never have to do it

Is he just out of eligibility? I doubt he gets drafted so I’m curious why if he has a COVID year to use why he wouldn’t stay.

Yeah he's out of eligibility. His brother was kicker in 2020.

The last time a Borregales wasn't our starting was in 2019, when we were stuck with Bubba Baxa and Camden Price.

I realllly hope Murray is ready.

I like the pickups - touchback specialists are underrated

More of a reflection of the 105 roster limit rather than how the staff feels about Murray?
Murray will be good here. They just want someone dedicated to booting it out the the end zone.

The underrated move was the long snapper. Ours is ******* terrible. I’ve been locked on him since the Rutgers bowl game.
