This is a Beautiful Thing for All the Negatives surrounding NIL ,The ability now of a kid to buy a Car or help pay for a Home 🏡 or getting their Family to live in a better place is priceless.

I'm happy for these kids.

It's a big-money business and they **** sure deserve a legitimate share of the billions coming in.

One thing to add: In watching both the CFP and now March Madness, there are a whole lot of players making six figures and beyond — more than average American will bring home in a year — but I haven't noticed a single one half-assing it as if the money killed his desire or he was protecting himself for the draft.

Can't ask for much more than that as fans

I believe the back pay is up to 2016 with the upcoming settlement in April?

I know my guy Romeo Finely is excited to get a check 😂😂😂

I actually thought he would get drafted in the lower rounds. Even at that time, I thought his skillset was perfect for scheme versatility and being a nickel-backer.

There's a reason I'm not a GM.

Something tells me there will be a landmark case that backpays all athletes for NIL.

It will be long, convoluted, and will take years.

@TheOriginalCane I need a lawyer to weigh in on this projection.
Well they should the NCaa & University have been milking money of the blood sweat & Tears of these Athletes in exchange for a lousy Scholarship .
While Coaches ,School& NCAA made Ou like Fat Rats…..🐀 … Heaven forbid a player get a Tatoo free or get paid for Autographs or Free Dinner would be National 📰 Esn News.
Glad it’s imploding on itself

Thank you ,Ed O’banen of UCLa for reigning in NiCk Saban Alabama & NCAA SEC monopoly

Wasn’t to long ago if a college bought and extra hamburger the NCAA would possibly enforce the death penalty.

Now college spirts has lost its identity as it turns professional sold out.

So you didn't see a single UF or F$U game last year?

That seems unlikely, but I trust you....

Do all 85 kids get to buy their moms Jags? Are they all getting paid? All getting paid the same?

I knew he would get paid when he ran for 160 yards and 2 scores vs FSU. Oh wait he hasn’t quite earned NCAA money yet. How long before we pay Optimist and Pop Warner kids?

This and the portal are out of control. Congrats though as indeed some got theirs at the expense of the sport.

We went from zero to this…now only 2 conferences and people scream yes! We have done it!!!!!!
